BOARD MEMBER SPOTLIGHT

Board Member Spotlight: Christopher Colona

Mr. Colona initially started down his journey with an interest in Finance and Business, studying hardly anything education-wise at all. While studying at the University of Miami he got the opportunity to tutor children in Math’s and Sciences. The rest as you can say is history. While

Finance is still his passion and a hobby, Chris finds himself working full time as mentor, educator, and Director of A Lurnin Company, LLC. Through his work, he has been so fortunate to impact the lives of many families, and couldn’t feel more fulfilled for it. Through his deep interest in today’s

field of education, he realized how truly vital knowledge and the preservation of its pursuits are, now more than ever. This knowledge must be disseminated and kept to the highest standards. Chris realized the importance, not just of education, but also of how important it is to empower all

students’ lives, especially if we want to create a better world for the future. As A Lurnin Company continues to grow, so does Mr. Colona’s passion. “I stay humble knowing that this journey has just

begun.”

In his spare time, Christopher volunteers for the University of Miami / Nova Southeastern University Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (UM-NSU CARD). He is the Education Committee

Chairman for the Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Executive Committee as Secretary for the Greater North Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
