HAYDEN HOLBROOK, HEAD HIGH SCHOOL TRACK COACH
Hayden is really grateful to be the head track coach for Concrete High School. He graduated from Concrete High School in 2013 and participated in track all four years during high school. Track was his favorite sport during high school because of the atmosphere of the team and the competition. He hopes to provide that atmosphere during his time as the coach and looks forward to a great season.
JASON MILLER, ASSISTANT TRACK COACH
Concrete Mayor and Concrete Herald Publisher Jason Miller is excited to help CHS Track athletes learn more about their events and perform at their highest level. His high school and college track career included a trip to the State
and 300m low hurdles. He moved to Concrete in 2005 as a freelance writer; his professional resume
and public relations work.
KELLY HOWELL – HEAD SOFTBALL COACH
Kelly was raised in Concrete and graduated from Concrete High School. He is married to his wife Brooke and has three children:
has worked for the Skagit County
currently assigned as the La Conner Detachment sergeant.
Kelly previously coached the high school softball team for four years including coaching the state championship team in 2007. In between his two stints as head
football coach at the high school for
his family as well as working with students and sports--both coaching and competing.
WAYNE KNOPF – ASSISTANT SOFTBALL COACH
attended Concrete High School and graduated in 1976. He is married and has three children and three grandchildren. He has coached
has also umpired/refereed those same three sports--all at Concrete!
Since he was 18 years old he has played competitive softball both in men’s and co-ed leagues. He has a lot of fond memories from the four years that he and Kelly Howell coached the Concrete High School girls’ softball team. His favorite was after winning the state championship in 2007. After
and picture taking was over he and Kelly sat in the dugout taking it all in. They sat there until everyone
