LOCAL SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING YOUNG CHILDREN ABUSE AND NEGLECT
Goal: To build a system of cooperation between local health care
and social care services in the area of identifying and supporting high-risk families
with children under 3.

LOCAL SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING YOUNG CHILDREN ABUSE AND NEGLECT
Information on the project: Parents receive information from nurses, midwifes, doctors, social workers Parents receive „Good Parent Packet” Posters and leaflets are available in partner institutions. Identification of parents at risk: Identification of risk factors in every family with young children in partner
institutions; Cooperation between partner institutions in order to motivate the family to
seek support and assistance.
Support to family: Educational support: educational meetings, workshops, publications Support for parents: consultations and therapy
