The 4-H and FFA exhibitors and Livestock and Sale
Committee greatly appreciate the excellent support you give
our livestock sale each year. We recognize our buyers in
many ways: the Journal-Leader; recognition in next year's fair
book; buyers placards; banner hung in large sale arena; and
pictures of champion animals.
What do I do with the animals I purchase?
1. Have a local processor prepare the meat for your freezer.
2. Have the animals resold at a local livestock auction. Then
your expenses would only be the difference between your
purchase price and market price.

Why not fill it with high quality meat? The following
processors in this area are available for custom processing of
sale animals. You may wish to contact them before the sale
to make an appointment.

All Grand Champion and Reserve Champion
market lambs, market goats, market hogs and market
steers will be sent to J & K Meat Processing for testing
of carcass at the conclusion of the 2020 Noble County
Junior Fair Livestock Sale. There is no resale bid for
these animals.
Market animal shows are partial-terminal shows.
This means that only the Grand & Reserve Champion
animals must go to slaughter. All other animals in the
sale can be re-sold, sent to slaughter or taken home.
Market Rabbits do not have a TURN or KEEP
Option. Only option is GIVE BACK this year. Thus, you
will pay full price for the pen of rabbits.
Market Turkeys and Market Chickens do not have
a TURN Option. Only options are KEEP or GIVE BACK.
Sale animals will be cared for at the until they are
sent to the sale barn or processing plant. However, the
Junior Fair Livestock & Sale Committee can assume no
responsibility or liability for animals
purchased in the Junior Fair Sale.

Noble County Junior Fair Livestock & Sale Com-
mittee will be managing and conducting the 2020 Noble
County Junior Fair Livestock Sale with the in accord-
ance with the Noble County Agricultural Society. Noble
County Junior Fair Livestock & Sale Committee will be
billing and collecting 2020 Noble County Junior Fair
Livestock Sale payments from buyers. All payments are
to be made to Noble County Junior Fair Livestock &
Sale Committee. Acceptable forms of payment are:
Cash, Check, Debit and Credit cards as follows-
Master Card, Visa, Discover & American Express.
ALL DEBIT & CREDIT CARDS WILL BE CHARGED A
3% PROCESSING FEE. All accounts are to be settled
within 15 days of the sale. Noble County Junior Fair
Livestock & Sale Committee encourages buyers to
settle accounts as soon as invoices are received.
ALL invoices will be mailed following the sale.
United Producers, Inc. - Caldwell, OH will be the
sole providers of the 2020 Noble County Junior Fair
Livestock Sale re-sale bids. Once market hogs,
market lambs, market goats, market feeder calves
and market steers are committed to United
Producers, Inc. at the resale bid (turned) they cannot
be retrieved.
The Noble County Agricultural Society designated
J & K Angus Meat Processing of Cambridge, as the ap-
proved slaughter facility for all Grand Champion and Re-
serve Champion market lambs, market goats, market
hogs and market steers, in accordance with the Ohio
Department of Agriculture regulations. There is no re-
sale bid for these animals. The buyer must also pay the
processing fee.

KEEP: Indicates you will pay the total sale
price and
designate the destination of the animal. The
animal is the property of the buyer as soon as
it is sold and may be removed from the
fairgrounds at any time after the sale.
GIVE BACK: Means you will pay full
price for the animal, and return it to the Junior
Fair Sale Participant.

The Junior Fair Animal Sale will start at 9:30 AM
in The Grandstands and the Sale Order will be: Market
Goats, Market Lambs, Market Rabbits, Feeder Calves,
Market Turkeys, Market Chickens, Market Beef and Market
Hogs.
There will be a break for the Sale of Champions at
12:30 PM. The Sale Order for the Sale of Champions is:
Market Turkeys, Chickens, Market Goats, Market Lambs,
Feeder Calves, Market Beef, Market Hogs and Market
Rabbits. Then Premier Exhibitors sell.
The Animal Sale will then resume after the Sale of
Champions & Premier Exhibitors and continue until all ani-
mals are sold.
If you do not wish to physically participate in the Jr. Fair Sale this year, you will need to Proxy bid with a representative that has your buyer’s number. Proxy bidding allows those who cannot come to the auction in person to still be able to bid. Proxy bidding means that you advise the auctions team as to your maximum bid, and a representative will bid on your behalf up to your maximum bid.
You can select your own representative or contact the Jr.
Fair Sale Committee and they will have a member of the
committee, a ringman or auctioneer bid for you. Just give
them the Proxy Bid Form and your buyer’s number or you
can email the Proxy Bid Form by 9:00 AM on Saturday,
September 5th to [email protected].

the sale at the Sale Office that will be located
outside of the Grandstands.

encourages buyers to settle accounts as soon as
invoices are received.
ALL invoices will be mailed following the sale.
Your participation in the Noble County Junior Fair Live-
stock Sale is very much appreciated, but the proceeds
can not be mailed to the exhibitors until all invoices are
paid.

There will not be a Buyers Hospitality
Tent this year, but the food stand oper-
ated by the Caldwell High School Band
outside of the Grandstand will be open.
They will be serving refreshments and
drinks to our buyers.
Morning refreshments will include cof-
fee and doughnuts.
Bottled water will be available to buyers
in the Grandstands at all times and buy-
ers will receive a voucher for a sand-
wich and a cold drink for the food stand
for the afternoon.
