On 13th February 2012 our dear Managing Director & CEO, Dr. B. R. Shetty was awarded the “Healthcare CEO of the Year” at a glittering function held at the Armani Hotel, Dubai. This award was given to Dr. B. R. Shetty in recognition of his outstanding contribution in the field of healthcare.

Thepanelofexperts includedDr.EmanTaha(InsuranceManager)&Dr.FijiAntony(Dietician)as Cardiologist & Dietician respectively. TheywerejoinedbytwodoctorsfromGMC,Ajman.As theParliamentSession featured a debateon“HealthyFoodvs.JunkFood”attheschoolcafeteria,thepanelofexpertsprovidedinputshighlightingtheadvantagesofhealthyfoodandhealthyliving.

Abu Dhabi Festival in association with NMC Healthcare presented an evening of Raga-Flamenco music featuring pieces from the world renowned Sitarist Anoushka Shankar’s first CD ‘Traveller’ on Monday, March 19, 2012 at Emirates Palace Auditorium.

It was the first Gulf performance of Anoushka Shankar, considered as one of the greatest contemporary sitar players in the world. This marked the gala opening of the Abu Dhabi Festival 2012.

Anoushka Shankar, is the only artist to be trained exclusively by her father, the legendary Ravi Shankar. She has shared the stage with many of the world’s top musicians, including Sting, Madonna, Elton John to name just a few of the many stars.
