As the senior IT at Air Test and Evaluation Squadron Three-Zero (VX-30) ensured the maintenance, operation, installation and security of ATE networking systems serving over 275 users. Assisted the Training Coordinator in maintaining a positive learning environment. Helped write training manuals on different flight and test equipment. Assisted in writing the JMPS set-up manual, and assisted in the beta testing. This manual is used by every aviation command under the United States. Every Pilot that has planned a mission since this has used JMPS. Maintained an interior ADP office, helping with troubleshooting, ticket resolution, and customer service. Involved with Defense Requisition Management, recycling over one million dollars of equipment back into the fleet. I was awarded a Fleet Letter of Commendation, for hard work and customer report. Flawlessly processed over 500 new and existing NMCI user accounts; provided customer service to over 300 personnel with various hardware, software and internet issues. Instrumental in the deployment of more than 100 new tech refresh computers valued at more than $100,000, with zero loss of information while greatly enhancing productivity within the squadron. Facilitated the successful installation of the S-3B aircraft simulator, helping establish the networking necessary to maintain the building and equipment thereby increasing the safety of the VX-30 aircrew through the ability to train locally.
