Arc Flash Safety Training

Live Webcast Training – December 5th 2012

Applicability. OSHA and NFPA require this training for

all employees who have the potential to be exposed to live

conductors of 50V or greater as part of their anticipated work

tasks.

Who Should Attend This Training? This

training is specifically designed for employees who have the

responsibility of doing electrical tasks such as electrical

maintenance, HVAC work, troubleshooting, voltage testing,

fuse testing, verifying a zero energy state, infrared imaging,

etc. It is also designed for those employees who manage or

supervise electrical workers and safety/engineering

professionals who have the responsibility of managing the

company’s Electrical Safe Work Practices program.

Content. In addition to meeting the training requirements

of OSHA’s Electrical Safe Work Practices and Arc flash

Safety training, this program is designed to be an eye-

opening, impactful presentation which will change the way

your employees approach electrical tasks. Arc flash accident

case studies bring a real-world perspective to the hazards

associated with various electrical tasks. Trainees will also be

provided with the key changes to the recently released 2012

version of NFPA 70E.
