Homework What We’re Up To Math – Our unit on probability and fractions will commence this week with a Unit Test on Thursday, March 19 th . Word Study – Even though we are practicing our spelling words during class through the work, it is still an expectation that students are practicing their spelling lists at home. There is a spelling test every Friday. Reading – This week we will begin reviewing non-fiction text structures. Students will practice identifying the types of text structures present in different reading excerpts. Writing – Students will continue to work on their persuasive essays. Science – This week we will continue our unit on Weathering & Erosion. Reading Expectations Fourth grade students are expected to read at least 300 pages per month. These pages must be logged on their weekly reading log and turned in each Friday. Class Spelling Words 1. dictionary 2. portable 3. interrupt 4. location 5. bankrupt Each spelling group has an additional 15 words that they will be tested on each Friday. They will receive their new lists each Monday. Please ask them about this list.
