What Were Up ToMath Our unit on probability and fractions will
commence this week with a Unit Test on Thursday, March 19th.
Word Study Even though we are practicing our spelling words
during class through the work, it is still an expectation that
students are practicing their spelling lists at home. There is a
spelling test every Friday.
Reading This week we will begin reviewing non-fiction text
structures. Students will practice identifying the types of text
structures present in different reading excerpts.
Writing Students will continue to work on their persuasive
essays.
Science This week we will continue our unit on Weathering &
Erosion.
Reading ExpectationsFourth grade students are expected to read
at least 300 pages per month. These pages must be logged on their
weekly reading log and turned in each Friday.

Each spelling group has an additional 15 words that they will be
tested on each Friday. They will receive their new lists each
