This is an exciting time at Lone Star College- North Harris. As we enter into our 45 th year of serving the community, we continue to expand our programs and facilities for students of all ages. Last semester, we opened our newest instructional building, the Construction and Skilled Trades Technology Center, and are currently involved with the Rebuild Houston initiative. This multi-phase project includes the build-out of new training labs at multiple LSC campuses, including LSC-North Harris and LSC-Victory Center, and the development of 16 new, construction- based training programs in residential, commercial and industrial construction. We offer our Academy of Lifelong Learning (ALL) for those adults age 50-plus who have a desire to keep learning and this summer, will host Discovery College on our campus for our younger learners, ages six to 17. Since 1973, the mission of LSC-North Harris has remained unchanged: to offer access to a quality, affordable education for a diverse population. That means we strive to provide the best value for: • Students who plan to continue their education at a four-year college or university • Those who are career-minded and seeking employment upon graduation • Adults and veterans seeking a wider range of skills and knowledge for a career change or advancement Throughout our college, you will encounter outstanding people - faculty who engage our students in the classroom, dedicated staff who support the educational goals of students, and, of course, our students. LSC-North Harris students range in age, background, experience and ability, but all come with the same fundamental goal: to learn. The college offers a broad range of activities for students and the community. You can see award- winning plays or art exhibits, enroll the kids in summer camps or take a course through our Continuing Education department. I invite you to take advantage of all that LSC-North Harris has to offer. Best wishes, Gerald F. This is an exciting time at Lone Star College-North Harris. As we enter into our 45th year of serving the community, we continue to expand our programs and facilities for students of all ages. Last semester, we opened our newest instructional building, the Construction and Skilled Trades Technology Center, and are currently involved with the Rebuild Houston initiative. This multi-phase project includes the build-out of new training labs at multiple LSC campuses, including LSC-North Harris and LSC-Victory Center, and the development of 16 new, construction-based training programs in residential, commercial and industrial construction.

That means we strive to provide the best value for: • Students who plan to continue their education at a four-year college or university • Those who are career-minded and seeking employment upon graduation • Adults and veterans seeking a wider range of skills and knowledge for a career change or advancement

Throughout our college, you will encounter outstanding people - faculty who engage our students in the classroom, dedicated staff who

support the educational goals of students, and, of course, our students. LSC-North Harris students range in age, background, experience and ability, but all come with the same fundamental goal: to learn.

The college offers a broad range of activities for students and the community. You can see award-winning plays or art exhibits, enroll the kids in summer camps or take

a course through our Continuing Education department.

I invite you to take advantage of all that LSC-North Harris has to offer. Best wishes,

Gerald F. Napoles, Ph.D.President, Lone Star College-North Harris
