New Holland Combine Harvester Presentation Evening

New Holland Combine Harvester owners are invited to operator refresher training at Millers Grain Store at 4pm on 22nd June.

New T5 & T6 Tier 4B Tractors from New Holland New Holland have launched their new Tier 4B T5 and T6 tractors. The new ranges, unveiled at the Scotgrass event, now include new models ranging from 100 to 180 hp. The new T5 Electro Command and T6 Auto & Electro Command replace the Tier 4A Dual Command T5 & T6 tractors.

Offering a wide range of machines and options, from the T5.100 to the T6.180 6 cylinder model these versatile tractors feature new engines to meet Tier 4B emissions regulations and incorporate a host of new features designed to boost comfort, efficiency and productivity.

We are delighted to be holding our New Holland Combine Harvester Presentation Evening on Wednesday 22nd June from 6.30 for 7pm at Millers Grain Store, Millers Dairy, with thanks to the Drax Estate. Experts from New Holland will be presenting walk throughs on 4 combines from the New Holland range, including both rotary and straw-walker machines and explaining the benefits of New Holland precision farming guidance systems. All arable customers are welcome to come and take a closer look at the impressive New Holland offering and meet the team that supports our Harvesters.

Garden Machinery Hire

C&O Managing Director Andy Coles is taking part in a charity bike ride, cycling from Dorset to Paris. The 300 mile journey will take place over 4 days. Andy is part of a team of 6 who will set off on 8th June. Andy will be using the challenge to raise money for the Ducks and Drakes Cancer Trust a local charity which C&O has supported for a number of years. Ducks and Drakes Cancer Trust is based in Dorset and was founded by Andrew Drake and his family following the bowel cancer diagnosis of local farmer Andrew aged 24. Sadly Andrew died in 2015 but Ducks and Drakes is continuing to raise money to support bowel cancer patients and their families, to create awareness of bowel cancer in young people, aged 18 to 30 in Dorset and the UK and to fund specialist nurses in the Colorectal Department at Dorset County Hospital.

New Factory for Abbey

EU Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Phil Hogan has officially opened the new Abbey Machinery manufacturing plant at Nenagh, Ireland. The factory builds a range of agricultural machinery including the slurry and manure handling equipment sold by C&O.

To celebrate the opening of the new facility we have taken £500 off this 2000 gallon recessed tanker.
