“Give Ye Them To Eat”
Friendship Scholarship Program
Some of our currently sponsored scholarship students want to express their gratitude by narrating the educational experiences
they have been able to live thanks to their gracious sponsors.
Greetings!
Our various programs continue to serve the many needs of rural
communities within Mexico. God’s constant grace and your gracious
donations allow these miraculous works to continue. Thank you!
I thank God very much for the opportunity He gives me to studying at the
University, and I thank God for those who continue to support me
providing me with the opportunity to grow both morally and intellectually.
It was a great blessing when I received the news that the Technological
Institute of Puebla accepted me to study at their institution. It was
awesome because many young people from different states and Puebla
applied and took the entrance exam but very few were accepted. I have
been blessed by the door the Lord opened for me to study.
College is really cool and different. I used to take all my classes in one
room, now every class is taken in a different room. The University is very
large and the classrooms are spread around the campus.
Thank God I was able to make friends very quickly; it helped me get used
to college faster. All the classes I have taken are of great interest and
related to the career path I will be pursuing. Everything was difficult at first
but not impossible because the Lord was with me.
Definitely college life is completely different and challenging yet pleasant
because it is where you acquire the knowledge to develop your
professional life. Thank God I have finished my first and second semester.
Time has certainly gone by so fast. I thank God
because I have always felt the support of God, my
parents and Christ family who help me with a
scholarship. I hope in God's power to
keep studying. I am eager to finish
my career to continue offering my
gifts and talents to the Lord.
Blessings,
Andrés Sánchez.
This first year of college was very
good, full of many emotions,
adventures and a lot of learning. In
each cooking practice I have learned
new recipes and new flavors. I have
learned how to work alone and with
teams. I'm always learning new things:
cutting, sauteing, marinating, cooking
methods, temperatures, etc. I can’t
forget about some cuts and some
burns, but it's all part of my learning. I
feel very happy to study this.
May God continue to
bless the people and
congregations that
provide the moral and
economical support
for me to continue my
career.
Joel Cruz.
Hello!
I am grateful for the opportunity to shine within my academic field. Thank you
for your support that allows me to gain knowledge with in my field of study,
Food Processing Engineer.
Receive my most sincere thanks form the bottom of my heart! God has
blessed me through your support and faith in me. I will become a better
person and will be able to face the labor force that awaits me in the near
future.
In December 2015 I will complete my career as an Engineer and I am
interested in pursuing a Master’s in this same field of study. I will be Praying
for continued support.
Blessings!
Oscar Marín Alvarado.

Ocala West UMC, led by Reverends Jennifer and Michael Sims, designated their March Mission of the Month to what they
promoted as “Giving Livestock for Life”. We have purchased young quality livestock to raise, improve local breeds and to
provide to impoverished rural farming families in need. Thank you, many families will be blessed!

together to build their school’s Palapa with the guidance of
our staff. This is phase one of the project.
Agricultural Program
Our seasonal crops are “jamaica”-a flower
used to prepare a local hot or cold drink- and
corn. Our interest is to develop more fields
for other types of crops. Preparing the land is
not a problem. The fields require a pump and
irrigation system. We are currently seeking
sponsors for the implementation of this
project. The cost of this project is
$26,500.00.
Church and Faith Development Program
Colossal Park Bible School material has been modified and made culturally sensitive to Mexican rural communities. Thank you
First Presbyterian Church of Hormigueros, Puerto Rico headed by Rev. Fernando Rodriguez.
August 7th we sponsored the closing VBS of “Getsemaní” Methodist Church in Tlancualpican. Lunch and backpacks were
provided to the children.
We are interested in integrating aquaculture within our “Tree of Life” training center to offer locals another self-sustainable
option for them to improve their nutrition and income. The cost of this project is $15,300.00.
We thank and praise God for every Reverend, Congregation, Organization and Family that opened their hearts to receive us
and learn about our ministry during our itineration period. We deeply appreciated your heartwarming welcomes and
hospitality. Your love and interest toward missions is admirable. Every luncheon, dinner and fellowship gathering was
wonderful! Our gratitude to those that have supported us throughout the years. We invite those that are seeking to bless a
mission to become part of our transforming ministry that meet the many needs of impoverished communities in Mexico. May
each and every one of you be abundantly blessed!
