NEWSLETTER 3 November 2014 Principal: Jennifer Horgan M.Ed, B.A, Dip Tchng, DipEdLead Email: [email protected] Web: www.east-taieri.school.nz Phone: 489 6737 Dear Parents/Caregivers
WELCOME We welcome Nicola McMahon into Room 10 and wish her happy times at East Taieri.
RASA DANCE PERFORMANCE Over the past 3 weeks the children have been learning a hip hop inspired dance to a piece of music. Lisa Wilkinson from RASA Dance and her instructors taught the children for four 30 minute sessions. On Friday we had our dance performance. The children were outstanding. The dancing and moves were well executed and Lisa was very impressed with how quickly the children picked up the various dance steps. We have added each classes dance to
YouTube and to our Facebook Page. We also intend to add this to the school website.
