On behalf of our school community, our school captains, Olivia Barrett and Gus Dempsey, laid a beautiful gold and green wreath recognising the sacrifices made by Australian men and women during past and present conflicts. Thank you to our students and their families for their support on this important day.  AASC Term 2 Tuesdays- Circus Skills: commencing 6 th  of May  Thursdays- Tennis: commencing 8 th  of May  There are still 9 Circus a nd 10 Tenn is spaces still available for please call at the school office for a form.  Any inquiries plea se contact Justin e Beagley c/- schoo l office 5985 2864

Prep B – Mrs Bos –  Leah Bailey –  for her improved behaviour and attention in class. Keep up the great effort. 

Prep P – Mrs Prossor –  Kaiden Woulfe –  for his great listening and the effort he makes to always do his best.

  for being a self-motivated enthusiastic learner who often completes extra workindependently at home. Keep up the great learning.

1P – Miss Perkins - Jordan Carver - For his fantastic holiday reading. Jordan reads nightly at home and his

reading is coming along nicely. His cinquain poem about jellyfish was amazing! Well done!

2B – Mrs Baird- Harry Taralaikov Drewett –  for his active participation in Bluearth and for his good modelling

of skills.

2J - Mrs Johnstone –  Deegan Thompson –  for being so focussed on his learning this term and achieving great

results. Keep it up!

3/4T – Miss Withers –  Josh Sterling – for his excellent effort in his spelling test. Well done Josh, I can see that

you’re doing your homework and trying your best. 3/W – Ms Walton – Scott Wilson –  for the concentration and effort he is putting into writing persuasive texts. 

4/5S – Miss Staley – Dieter Heylbut  - for his outstanding sportsmanship at the Summer Lightening

Premiership. Dieter's knowledge of cricket is outstanding which, teamed with his positive attitude and

encouraging advice, made him an exceptional captain. Fantastic effort!

5Q – Mrs Clements - Adam 'Warney' Peterson- His excellent spin bowling at the Summer Lightening

Premiership was instrumental in all of his team's victories! Only one short of a hat trick Adam! Well done.

6B – Mrs Bruin –  Isaiah Columbine - Welcome to Tootgarook and 6B. You have settled in really well and have

made friends very quickly. You have a great attitude and a fun personality and will be an asset to our grade.

Our monthly market was held last Saturday with 3/4 W rostered on - a very big

thankyou to Sylvia Williams and Fran Lazner for helping out in the absence of Paula

Choir  

Expressions of interest are beingsought regarding an adult/former

student choir which will run of an

evening to be determined. We are

looking for singers as well as

accompanists. A meeting to

establish whether this will be a

viable enterprise will take place in

the Music Room on Tuesday the 29 th
