SITEMANAGER IV- SITEMANAGER 4 is a 19” rack- and room manager for the industrial sector

The SITEMANAGER 3 will be replaced by the SITEMANAGER 4 which comes intwo versions. The SITEMAN_IV is for facility and rack management. TheSITEMANAGER 5 BACS SITEMAN_V extends the functionality of the BACSWEBMANAGER by a 19”-version.

In opposite to SITEMANAGER 3, the following differences are present in theSITEMANAGER 4:- The power provision is designed for redundancy. The user may install a secondvoltage supply on clamps, so if one supply fails the 2nd will take over. Theoperational safety is enhanced significantly and a real enhancement of theproduct.- The voltage input area is expanded to 18V – 75V. Delivered is a default powersupply EU 230V / 24V Output.- The voltage input is now implemented as a spring clip. Slipping out the jack plugaccidentally is now inhibited.The processor is no longer the MWT with 16 MB memory. Instead, it is a CS121HW131 with 32 MB. This provides faster startup, higher processing power andbetter responses to Web-Interface actions.

SITEMANAGER Connections (backside):

- The measure precision of analog inputs has beenimproved. A higher sensor resolution provides moreaccurate data for end users.- The storage for data log and Alert Log has beenincreased. The collected data can be stored at leastfor two days in flash memory. For longer records, theUNMS must be used. The Alert Log was alreadyhuge in SITEMANAGER 3 (250 rows), withSITEMANAGER 4 this amount has nearly beendoubled.- Switching the input measure signal for 0-10Vsensors (default value), 0-20mA or 4-20mA can bedone with a jumper field. Therefore, theSITEMANAGER can handle almost every availablesensor so far.

UNMS IIThe universal network management software

For over 10 years, GENEREX offers with the UNMS II a proven and efficientpossibility to monitor and control worldwide your UPS systems, facilitymanagement and battery management by network.

The UNMS II is a customizable network- and management software foradministration of network devices which monitor power provisioning. You maymonitor all UPS systems and other power provision devices and BACS from acentral location, and also the environment sensors and alarm pins. Thisincludes f.e. smoke- and motion detectors, door contacts and several moredevices from the GENEREX product catalog.

The UNMS II runs on Windows from Vista an on Windows Server from 2008and collects status information of all system objects and determines the statusabout condition and occurring alerts. The details of values are shown ondifferent graphic levels and can trigger any, customizable actions.

The UNMS II is fully web based and reachable from every client in the WAN /LAN. Different user groups can be set for different levels of access, frommonitoring up to full control. For example, the local admin can watch allprocesses occurring in the network and may take actions if necessary.

One feature of UNMS II is the free customizabledesign of the user interface for easy handling even ifthe user does not have much IT experience. Anindividual use of backgrounds and presentation indifferent levels (for example country, city, building,room, UPS) shows a fast way to identifty problemsand simplifies complex installations significantly. TheUNMS II is the ideal product for every company torecognize and solve problems immediately. TheUNMS II is packaged for multiple networkdimensions (25, 50, 150, 250, 500 up to 5000objects) for managing UPS systems and BACS. It isa very powerful tool for user or service providers tomanage UPS and BACS system and disposeforward-looking maintenance of systems.

Network security is becoming even more importantfor all customers. Beside VPN-tunnel based solutionsanother communication with UNMS II is appreciated:Email traps. This is a one-way connection via email.The UNMS server retrieves these emails viaTELESERVICE module and evaluates them. Theseemails contain all device data, so an almostconstantly communication is possible in real time. Onalert the control contact is interrupted and an instantmail delivery will be started. The UNMS receives allmeasure data of end devices and can respond toalerts and create statistics. Sending back commandsis not possible, so it is a high secure and low costsolution for remote monitoring.
