Welcome! So glad to have you with us this morning. In our sermon time this

morning I will continue looking at the Questions of Jesus but transitioning from Validating Questions to Chal-lenge Questions. There are many things we have been lead to believe about life—some may be right but some may be wrong. It is always a productive ex-ercise to look at some important be-liefs and ideas that we have to make sure they really are based in truth rather than simply accepted because of cultural tendencies or just because everyone has thought that way for so long. Jesus lived in a world where there were many false ideas about who God is and what life was all about and one of his objectives in his ministry was to challenge some of those ideas. These are the topics of those questions I call “Challenge

Questions.” Today we will look at a question of Jesus that challenges our idea of greatness and significance. It’s that time of year when we rec-ognize our High School graduates for all their hard work and their accomplishments. As a church family we will dedicate next Sunday to honoring them and their families with a special focus on them in our worship and a banquet to follow. See inside a list of our 2015 high school graduates and instructions on what to bring for the banquet. I hope you can make it to show your support of our graduates. Next Sunday is a fifth Sunday and we will have a second contribu-tion to offset our debt on the Family Life Center. Our additional financial gifts are saving us thousands of dollars on interest and accelerating the payoff date for the Ark. Thanks in advance for your ongoing generosity. I continue to be most thankful for that facility and the way it benefits our church and our community. If you haven’t checked out the newly designed website, please do so. Please feel free to give us any feedback. Happy Memorial Day Weekend and remember to be thankful for those who gave the ultimate gift for our freedom. Let’s prepare our hearts and minds as we enter into worship.
