Direct from the West end, the acknowledged master of

psychological illusion returns to the stage with his latest show,

Derren Brown: Infamous, demonstrating once again why Derren

is one of the world’s most renowned live performers; a dark

manipulator of magic and mind control.

For Infamous, a more ‘personal’ show, Derren is re-united with

his close collaborator and friend, actor/writer Andy Nyman.

Derren says ‘Now we’ve joined forces again, we’re very eager to

make this show feel different. There was something of a template

we followed with all the shows, which worked very well. It’s rather

exciting and scary leaving that behind. This one should certainly

have a different tone, and will mix things up a bit for those who

have seen the others on TV or live’.

Infamous is Derren’s sixth show since 2003. he has toured every

year since then and has been watched by an estimated audience of

over 2 million people. he has won two prestigious Olivier Awards,

for Something Wicked This Way Comes (2006) and Svengali

(2012), and confesses that touring is still his favourite thing to do.

This production is not suitable for persons under 12 years. Set Design by Simon higlett

My First Ballet: Coppélia tells the comic family tale of an eccentric

toymaker and his mechanical doll in a beautifully adapted version

for young audiences. Dr Coppélius, the toymaker, has created the

lifelike Coppélia doll, and wishes for nothing more than to bring her

to life. He thinks that his dream has finally come true, but he has

merely been caught up in a lovers’ tiff. Love triumphs over all in

this comedy of mistaken identity and the finale is a breathtaking

celebration of the lovers’ marriage.

Delibes’s irresistibly melodic score is accompanied with narration

to ensure that everyone enjoys this classic fairy tale. My First

Ballet: Coppélia is choreographed by George Williamson, English

National Ballet’s Associate Artist, after an original production

by Ronald Hynd.

The My First Ballet series brings young audiences their first taste

of ballet through the magic of fairy tales, captivating music

and beautiful dance. The ballets are danced by second year

students of English National Ballet School in performances

produced by English National Ballet.

WriTTeN By PETER ROWE

MuSiC AND lyriCS By MARC BOLAN

This brand new musical, inspired by the life of rock legend Marc Bolan,

explodes onto the stage nearly four decades after the iconic star’s

tragic death. Featuring some of the greatest pop songs ever

written, 20th Century Boy tells the story of Marc Bolan and his

band T.Rex, exposing some of the myths and taking the audience

on a tearful, yet joyful journey through Marc’s fascinating life.

rocker, poet, electric warrior, king of glam and godfather of punk, Bolan

was arguably the biggest rock star the uk had ever seen. ‘Bigger than the

Beatles’ the media said. Before his tragic death in 1977, just days short of

his 30th birthday, Bolan lived life at breakneck speed, creating a series of

iconic images, a string of number one hits and an army of obsessive fans.

Packed with all T.Rex’s 70s hits, staged by Gary Lloyd (Thriller Live)

and with a West end cast, 20th Century Boy is a glorious story and

celebration of glam rock at its colourful best!
