We especially liked making the turkey paper folding activity to help us remember facts about turkeys. Last week we read a fun story Mice and Beans by Pam Munoz Ryan. We will be learning more about this author when we read her autobiography this week. We worked on the skill fantasy vs. reality. In Grammar, we continue to work on nouns, proper nouns, collective nouns, and irregular plural nouns. In math we continued working on comparing numbers using symbols <, >, and =. We also used the words greater than, less than, and equal to. We will be finishing Module 3 this week. Happy Veteran’s Day – We learned about Veteran’s Day and did some Veteran’s Day activities in the classroom. We also had an assembly at the end of the school day and watched some short video clips in the gym with the whole school. Last Week’s Highlights
