New Portal Dashboard

The new Portal provides access to applications and contents via the use of tiles. The content is

consistent with the access provided in the old portal.

Home Dashboard 1. Login to the Portal @ https://portal.ulster.ac.uk using your university EMAIL ADDRESS and

network password (Office 365 credentials).

1 – Navigation panel providing options to view Home, Staff, Student, Research

dashboards. Newsroom tab detailing latest University News is also available.

2 - Toolbar showing access to any Bookmarks, minimise navigation bar button and a

Search field.

3 - Main Portal area detailing the tiles available for applications and content.

4 - Toolbar showing access to Personalisation of the dashboard (including Reset

Layout), personal preferences including Switch to Mobile and Alert Subscriptions.

Staff Dashboard Staff Dashboard details the layout of the applications and content available to Staff.

You may be prompted to login to some of the resources linked within the new portal. If this the case

please ensure you use your ECODE and network password.

Student Dashboard (shown to staff so that they can also view the student links) Students Dashboard details the layout of the applications and content available to Students.

Research Dashboard Research Dashboard details the layout of the applications and content available to relevant users.
