To dress post-operative wounds, minor cuts, abrasions, lacerations and puncture sites where a waterproof dressing, which aids in the prevention of bacterial contamination, is required.

Moisture vapour transmission rate (MVTR) is up to 7000 g/m2/24hr. Moreover, the adhesive free central area is highly transparent and clear, allowing easy monitoring of the healing process. Last but not least, high breathability and waterproof properties allow moist environment which is highly favorable during healing. The adhesive border secures the dressing to the healthy skin surrounding the wound bed. The adhesive border is either adhesive peripheral rim zone coated on the PU film or foam adhesive border to give a cushioning effect.

1. Much higher breathability than most of the traditional adhesive fully coated PU films in the advanced wound management market. MVTR of adhesive free central area/zone reaches 7000 g/m. 2/24h

2. It allows removal of the dressing without induction of pain nor causing trauma.

3. Being transparent at the wound contact area, it allows monitoring of the wound healing process without need to remove the dressing.

4. The PU film is polyether based, so it resists hydrolysis allowing longer wear time. It is also chemically inert, non- cytotoxic and non carcinogenic.

5. The PU film is 15 micron, so it is highly conformable and stretchable, allowing application on curved areas like knee, elbow, joints…etc.

Protectfilm 7000 is a transparent, highly breathable, 15 micron PU film, with adhesive border and adhesive free central area which prevents undesired adhesion with the wound bed and allows removal of the dressing without pain or trauma.

Furthermore, absence of adhesive in the central wound contacting area allows a higher breathability than most transparent film dressings in the market.

Incifilm Iodine Incise Drape is a yellowish coloured, transparent, adhesive Polyurethare film which allows the skin to breath, preventing moisture build-up under the drape. Cavidagel® is clear amorphous hydrogel with alginate which gently re-hydrates necrotic tissue, facilitating autolytic debridement, while being able to loosen and absorb slough and exudate. It can also be used to provide the optimum moist wound management environment during the later stages of wound closure.

• Debriding action: Cavidagel® rehydrates necrotic tissue and aids debridement.

• Desloughing action: Cavidagel® absorbs slough and exudate without damaging fragile granulation tissue.

• Creates moist wound healing environment: Cavidagel® helps to create an optimal moist wound management environment which promotes healing, reduces the likelihood of scarring and helps soothe pain.

Pharmacoll® is a gelatin free hydrocolloid adhesive wound dressing laminated to a semi permeable, bacteria proof, virus proof and waterproof polyurethane film backing individually packed and sterilized by radiation. Pharmacoll® Comfort with adhesive polyurethane film border. Pharmacoll® Basic is laminated to PU Foam backing providing extra cushion and Pharmacoll® thin has lower absorption capacity, so it could be used during epithelialization phase. Pharmacoll® forms a gel upon absorbing wound exudates providing a moist wound environment, supporting granulation and epithelialization. Gel formation prevents Pharmacoll® from adhering to wounds and dressing can be removed without causing pain and without damaging the granulation and epithelial tissue.

Pharmacoll® Algi : Same as Pharmacoll but with additional calcium alginate which is also absorbent and gel forming powder.

Pharma-Algi® F Product Line: is haemostatic and absorbent wound dressing, made of alginate nonwoven fibres, carded and needle punched to form a nonwoven absorbent felt.

1. Haemostatic effect: due to calcium - sodium ions exchange where calcium ions are donated to the wound which is vital factor for the clotting process.

2. High Absorption capacity: absorb wound exudates and locks it inside the formed gel so prevents skin maceration.

2. Post-Operative Dressings:

Pharmapore® PU IV Algi F: Polyurethane film substrate coated with pressure sensitive adhesive having U shaped slit.

1. Pharma-Algi® F and Pharma-Algi F island dressings variants are used as primary dressing to manage full and partial thickness wounds, with moderate to heavy exudates which may also be prone to minor bleeding: Post-operative Wounds, leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, traumatic wounds, cavity wounds, graft and donor site, fungating carcinomas, superficial and partial thickness burns.

2. IV Dressings: are used for catheter and cannula fixation and stop bleeding.

• Do not use on patients with a known allergy to alginates.

• Do not use on dry or necrotic tissues.

• It is not intended to be used as a surgical sponge or to achieve haemostasis in heavily bleeding wounds.

• When used on infected wounds, the infection should be inspected and treated in accordance with local clinical protocol.

• If the dressing is not easily removed, moisten it with saline, and then remove.

• The dressing may adhere if used on very lightly exuding wounds. .

ESPUMA® Gentle Family are suitable for dressing many types of odourless and malodorous from low to highly exuding wounds including leg and pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, first and second degree burns, surgical incisions and traumatic wounds resulting in skin loss, also may be used under compression bandaging.

• Do not use ESPUMA® Gentle Family dressings with oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite solutions or hydrogen peroxide, as these can break down the absorbent polyurethane component of the dressing.

• The dressing should not be used on patients with a known sensitivity to this dressing or one of its components.

1. Clean and dry the wound thoroughly.

2. Remove the release liner from the silicone wound contact layer.

3. A dressing should be selected that overlaps the wound margin by at least two centimeters. If required ESPUMA® Gentle and ESPUMA® Gentle Lite may be cut to size or shape before removal of the protective film. Once in position the dressing may be held in place with a bandage or other suitable fixation tape.

4. In case of ESPUMA® Gentle Comfort, ESPUMA® Gentle Comfort Lite, ESPUMA® Gentle Carbon Comfort, ESPUMA® Gentle Carbon Comfort Lite, ESPUMA® Gentle eXsorb Comfort, ESPUMA® Gentle eXsorb Comfort Lite, ESPUMA® Gentle Carbosorb Comfort and ESPUMA® Gentle Carbosorb Comfort Lite do not cut to size. It doesn't need any retention aid of fixation dressing as the polyurethane adhesive border is enough for fixation of the foam.

The interval between dressing changes will be normally determined by the degree of exudate produced but the dressing may be left undisturbed for several days on clean lightly exuding wounds.

ESPUMA® Exulock Family (adhesive and non-adhesive) are absorbent, atraumatic polyurethane foam dressing with uniformly distributed highly absorbing powder.

ExuLock Technology foam has an extremely high absorption capacity so that upon contact with wound exudates, the foam massively absorbs all exudates forming a soft coherent gel that is locked within the foam matrix providing a super exudate managing system with gentle gelling action that allows easy removal of the dressing. The Polyurethane foam laminated with waterproof, bacteria proof and virus proof polyurethane film that prevents the strike of external infections and leakage of exudates. CONTRAINDICATIONS:

• High Absorption Capacity, so increases wearing time.• Contains exudate locking technology, so reduces risk of leakage and can be used under compression.• Exudates are easily distributed throughout the wound dressing, so no skin maceration.• No Strike-through, so no fear of clothes and bed lining sheets staining and reduces risk of cross infection.• Waterproof, bacteria proof and virus proof outermost layer.• Highly breathable dressing allows gaseous changes which is ideal for wound healing.• Non-adherent gel forming wound dressing allows easy removal of the dressing without pain.• The additional carbon layer in ESPUMA® C Sealed Edges with sealed edges and ESPUMA® C Adhesive

provides superior bacterial and odor adsorption.

Used for the following types of wounds and ulcers with moderate to heavy drainage/exudation rate:• Pressure ulcers stage II and superficial stage III.• Partial and full thickness diabetic foot ulcers.• Venous insufficiency leg ulcers.• Partial and full thickness arterial ulcers.• Partial thickness burns and abrasions.• Open surgical wounds.• Skin tears.ESPUMA® C Sealed Edges and ESPUMA® C Adhesive are used in management of malodor wounds.

• Should not be applied onto dry wounds or necrotic tissues.• Should not be used in wounds that extended to reach bones or muscles.• Should not be used with oxidizing agents as hypochlorite solutions or hydrogen peroxide solutions as

this can breakdown the absorbent hydro-cellular component of the dressing.

ESPUMA® C Adhesive is the same composites of ESPUMA® Adhesive, with additional activated charcoal layer for superior bacterial and odour adsorption.

ESPUMA® Adhesive Plus is the same composites of ESPUMA® Non-Adhesive, placed centrally on a hydrocolloid adhesive polyurethane film substrate that extends beyond the margin of the island pad.

ESPUMA® Basic the same composites of ESPUMA® Non-Adhesive but with hydrocolloid wound contact layer so that the dressing could be adherent where no fixation needed, and with atraumatic removal during dressing change.
