Here is the latest from the NMS-DPS News Desk
Highlights:
The School will remain closed on Wednesday, 25th November 2015 on account of
“Guru Nanak Jayanti”.
As per the directives of the CBSE Circular No. ASCOORD/FASA Data, dated 30th
October 2015. PSA has been scrapped for grade IX and XI from the academic session
2015-16. The formatives are being conducted in lieu of PSA. The students of grade X
who wish to improve their score of grade IX (2014-15) in PSA will be given a chance to
appear in Formatives.
Grade IX only : Due to “BAYMUN 2015” scheduled on 27th and 28th November 2015,
the weekly test schedule for 29th November 2015 is postponed and the same will now be
conducted on 1st December 2015.
Please find below the revised weekly test schedule for grade IX:

Kindly note: The weekly test for other grades remains unchanged.
Admission test to the Integrated Programme for the session (2016-17) is scheduled to be held on
21.11.15(Saturday) from 11:15 am - 2:15 pm. Kindly refer to the circular no. Ref:NMS:088:15:16
dated 17th November 2015. For more details please call on 36543868.

ACER Examination (Grades VI to X PARTICIPANTS ONLY): As per the
instructions received from the ACER officials the ACER examination for the Gulf region
must be completed by 25th November 2015. Hence, the Science examination scheduled
for 26th November 2015 will now be conducted on 25th November 2015.
Bus commuters can avail school transport. Parents are requested to make arrangements for
private commuters.
Timing for the examination is as follows:
Reporting time: 7:50am
Examination time: 8:00am to 9:30am.

An assembly was conducted by the students of VII A & B for grades VI to XII. The
theme for the assembly was “Peer Pressure”.
An Inter house Badminton (Girls) competition was conducted for grades VI to VIII. The results
are as follows:
1st Position – Mandela House
2nd Position – Gandhi House
3rd Position – Lincoln House
