Welcome New Fund Director Ryk Tierney Ryk Tierney, CEBS, was appointed Fund Director of the IAM National Pension Fund and IAM National 401(k) Fund, effective May 4, 2015, by the Boards of Trustees. Before coming to the Funds, Mr. Tierney served as Executive Director of the New York City District Council of Carpenters (NYCDCC) Benefit Funds from April 2013 through April 2015. Prior to that, he was the Vice-President/Director of Accounts for a third-party administrator based in Baltimore, Maryland where he was responsible for the administration of a number of multiemployer benefit funds. Additionally, he has considerable work experience in labor management relations. Mr. Tierney holds the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation through the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. As an active member with the International Foundation, he has spoken at numerous national conferences on the subjects of compliance, the Affordable Care Act, and strategic planning and has been published in the International Foundation’s Benefits Magazine. Please join us in welcoming Ryk as he moves the Funds forward with his leadership experience, strong background in Taft-Hartley benefits, and his vision for the future. JULY 2015 FUTURE CHOICE YOUR YOUR NEWS FROM THE IAM NATIONAL PENSION FUND IAM National Pension Fund Board of Trustee Changes Phil Gruber, GVP, was appointed Co-Chairman of the IAM National Pension Fund (NPF) Board of Trustees in April 2015. Phil became a Union Trustee on the NPF Board in 2006. In addition, on March 1, 2014 he was appointed as Board Co-Chairman for the IAM National 401(k) Fund. He is General Vice President of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) Midwest Territory, a post he assumed on July 1, 2006. Phil has been a member of the IAMAW since October 1972. Before becoming GVP, Phil held various posts,including Administrative Assistant to the GVP; Directing Business Representative for IAM District Lodge 9; he served on the IAM Committee on Law; was president of the Missouri State Council of Machinists; and member of the National Planning Committee. James Conigliaro, DBR, became a Union Trustee of the IAM National Pension Fund in April 2015. He is currently a Directing Business Representative and has been selected to take the post of General Vice President of the IAMAW’s General Secretary Treasurer’s Department effective August 1, 2015. James has been the President and Directing Business Representative of District 15 since 2003. Welcome New Fund Director Ryk Tierney Ryk Tierney, CEBS, was appointed Fund Director of the IAM National Pension Fund and IAM National 401(k) Fund, effective May 4, 2015, by the Boards of Trustees. IAM National Pension Fund Board of Trustee Changes Phil Gruber, GVP, was appointed Co-Chairman of the IAM National Pension Fund (NPF) Board of Trustees in April 2015. Phil became a Union Trustee on the NPF Board in 2006. In addition, on March 1, 2014 he was appointed as Board Co-Chairman for the IAM National 401(k) Fund. He is General Vice President of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) Midwest Territory, a post he assumed on July 1, 2006. Phil has been a member of the IAMAW since October 1972. New Name for IAM National 401(k) Plan RecordkeeperThe merger of New York Life Retirement Plan Services with John Hancock Retirement Plan Services resulted in a new name for the Plan’s recordkeeper: John Hancock.

Effective April 15, 2015, the Plan’s recordkeeper is John Hancock. This change does not impact participants’ accounts or current investment options. Participants may continue to use the same user name and password to access the MyLife site. However, bookmarks or favorites in their web browsers should be replaced with the new link to the MyLife site: www.mylife.jhrps.com.
