Earn your Pearls of Sharing during your first 30 days! Part of your job as a Mary Kay consultant is to share the great opportunity you have been given with others! Mary Kay began this company 50 years ago with herself and nine other women. Today we are over 3,000,000 women strong worldwide! We are changing lives around the world with our phi-losophies and products! You can help grow the company and Mary Kay will pay you well for helping her in her mission to en-rich the lives of women! We have a philosophy of sharing and caring.

To help you learn the proper techniques for sharing our Mary Kay opportunity, I am offering a beautiful pair of pearl earrings when you have listened to me do three practice interviews with three of your friends or family. These can be done at a sales meeting, meeting for coffee or on a three-way phone call. Be sure to call me and work with me on the phone to arrange for these practice interviews.

How to ask for the appointment: "Hi, __________, this is ___________. Do you have a quick minute? Great! I am soooo excited! I just started with Mary Kay and part of my training is to learn how to explain how we make our money. This week I need 3 friends to help me with this part of my training. Would you help me? All you need to do is listen on the phone for about 20 minutes, while my director teaches me how to share the company facts. You'll be answering the questions and interacting with my director as if you were interested in becoming a consultant, even though this is just for practice. Would that be ok? When would you have some times we could do a 3-way call? Let me call my Director and get back to you on which of these times will also work for her. Thanks!

To Earn the Pearls of Sharing Earrings: You will set up appointments with three of your friends, family, new clients, etc, to hear the marketing plan. These will be done with your Director, either in person, or by 3-way calling, so you can learn how we share the company facts and benefits.

4. Locate with your recruiter/Cindy your Success Meeting time and location. (Attend 5 meetings in a row to earn your money bag.)

5. Go to www.cindyssuperstars.weebly.com (our unit website) and click on New Consultants. Familiarize yourself with the site.

6. Familiarize yourself with your www.marykayintouch.com website. We will talk more about the website at your orientation. You may create your customized look or wait until after orientation

7. Set up your debut skin care class date with your recruiter/Cindy. (Details will be in your Welcome Packet)

8. Communication is an important part of your success. I use phone, text, email, Facebook and VOXER. Please download this FREE APP on your phone and contact me.

1. Unpack and go through the packing list.

2. Watch the Packing Your Starter Kit Video at www.cindyssuperstars.weebly.com under New Consultants. Some of the items in the video you will receive with your inventory order. Before it arrives you can place your skin care in the side netted pockets of the tote and your foundations in the black mesh bags.

3. Cut out and put the paper tray diagram in your trays. (Found in your Welcome Packet)

4. Place your 10 Steps to a Perfect Party in a page protector. (Found in this packet. I also have them to purchase laminated.)

5. Read "Start Something Beautiful Magazine". This is a great resource guide!

6. Watch the video.

7. Place your Set Sheets in a page protector. (One found in this packet. You can purchase laminated Set Sheets from me or print your own from our website and put them in Page protectors.)

8. Make up Customer party bags: (Optional) Cellophane party bags (Dollar Tree), Profile Card, Beauty Book, Did You Know Survey, Referral Slip, Mascara Sampler or Wand, Lip Gloss Sample, Business Card (Did You Know & Referral Slips can be purchased from me or you can print them off our unit website under Training - Skin Care Presentation)

1. Contact Cindy with your inventory decision.

2. Create your customized look if you haven't completed this step.

3. Sign up for ProPay so you can take credit cards. This is found on your InTouch website under Online Ordering.

4. Order your business card kit. This is found on your InTouch website under Online Ordering - MK Connections.

5. Open a separate personal checking account with a debit card.

6. Sign up for your Personal Mary Kay website at 50% off. Personal message, email and text family, friends and future customers with your website address. Invite them to register. (You may want to offer them a gift for registering. A hand cream or lip gloss sample which we will get with your inventory.)

7. Invite your guests from your contact list to your debut party and book those that can’t attend for your Perfect/Power Start.

“Hi! I’m debuting as a brand new consultant with Mary Kay. My first goal is 15/30 faces by . I’m having a debut party on . If you are not available, may I borrow your face? I know that you would laugh with me and not at me as I practice. What works best for you - days, evenings or a weekend?
