INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGEMENT• Wise Information Security for collaborating E-
infrastructures – event held last week• workshop’s objective to enhance the
collaboration among large e-infrastructures and NRENs and their communities on handling security information.
• Establish a community of security management professionals
• Develop, maintain and promote a trust framework between NRENs based on international standards
• Promote the use of international security standards and share best practices for security management within NRENs
• discuss and promote issues of information security management of particular interest to NRENs

SOFTWARE CONSERVANCY GREENHOUSE – TBC• Support open source software projects that have
the required level of maturity to join an appropriate software conservancy provided by a third party.
• Work with GÉANT to define an MoU for interactions with third party software conservancy organisations, including issues regarding cost for participation in such conservancies.
• Support open source projects in creating models for project governance and organisation via template documentation.
• Encourage good practice in software development via best practice recommendations for code quality.

NEXT GENERATION NETWORKS - TBCInitial meeting aligned with the network architects workshop in October 2015. Will be looking for a meeting location/date in calendar Q1 2016 for a kickoff meeting if sufficient interest is expressed by the community and if launched will seek another forum date later in Q4 2016
