08 March 2018 Dear Parents Foundation 2 & 3 Myanmar Dance Performance and Water Festival In honour of Thingyan Water Festival, we will hold our special celebration for Foundation 2 and 3 at 09:30 on Thursday 29 March on the Primary School basketball court. The students will be performing the Myanmar Dances they have been learning and the show will last for around 45 minutes. Parents are invited to come and watch the performance and are requested to park in the outside car park and once your car is parked it will not be possible to leave until 10:30.
We would be very grateful if Foundation 2 parents could provide Myanmar traditional dress for their child, which can be from any region of Myanmar and Foundation 3 parents to provide the traditional outfit on the attached sheet. If you have problems sourcing the outfit required please see your class teacher. Following the performance, children will continue with a normal school day. In addition to this, we will have our own Water Festival Celebration on Friday 30 March. Children are invited to bring a water shooter to school on that day so that they may join in the fun. Please send your child’s swimming costume on that day and a change of clothes. After the water play session we will be having a shared snack in our classes, please send a small plate of healthy snack to share.
