Be Grateful

I believe it's one of the greatest lessons in life to be grateful for all the things we have and for who we are. Most ofthe people are not used to being thankful anymore and just wish always for more instead of taking few minutes aday to give thanks for what they have already.

There are lot's of studies about gratefulness and the benefits of it, I just would like to give you the link to one studyconducted by Harvard Health Publications.

Feel Happy

I don't know anybody who would not like to feel happier andmore content in life. You can achieve this almost instantly bybeing grateful for everything you already have.

Even somebody who lives on the street will have things to bethankful for because he could think of a person who ishomeless and ill. Instantly, he will be so grateful for his goodhealth that he can feel content about his situation.

"Look at those who are lower than you and do not look at thosewho are higher than you. That is more likely to prevent youunderestimating the blessing of Allah on you."

Sometimes we might be getting so consumed by trying to achieve our goals, that we forget that what we have rightnow in our possession what used to be our goal. We really need to step back and practice more gratefulness bytaking time daily. You could write down a list of things you are thankful for, you could send a letter to a person whohelped you or you can add this to your daily prayers to thank almighty god for what you have.

If you listen to people who are successful you will notice, that they are alwaysvery grateful for everything. You will even find them being thankful for theroadblocks that were in their way on their path to success. They know exactlythat if they would not have encountered them, that they would be nowhere nearwhere they are today.
