Water Infiltration
• Claims can easily be hundreds of thousands of dollars.
• Most water infiltration claims were caused by:– Poor Craftsmanship– Unsecured Roof
Penetrations– Plugged Drains– Failure to control water– Failure to perform &

Flying Debris
• SECURE ALL MATERIAL!!
• OSHA requires that material be stored a minimum of 10’ from the edge.
• Watch out for overspray of product!! Do not use in high winds.
Fires
• NO SMOKING NEAR FLAMMABLES!!
• Keep sparks and flame away from combustible and flammable material.
• A CHARGED fire extinguisher must be on every worksite. On flat roofs it must be on the roof. It can be no further than 50’ from flammables.
• MAINTAIN GOOD HOUSEKEEPING
• P - Pull Pin• A - Aim at base• S - Squeeze• S - Sweep from side to

Attractive Nuisances
• We must go above and beyond to protect others.
• Ladders going atop buildings, kettle areas, forklifts, and construction areas in general are attractive to many especially children.
• Ladders NEVER remain up in an uncontrolled site when we are not on the project.
• Provide fencing / protection around kettle areas or stair access onto scaffolding.
• ALWAYS remove keys from equipment and lock them if possible.
