Right-Sized lengths can be cut and prepared for shipping directly on the production line.
With one of the largest continuous cast acrylic and solid surface plants in the world, Aristech is
uniquely able to deliver Avonite solid surface products that will save you money. Our four football-field
length machines manufacture wide widths (up to 60"/1524mm) in multiple thicknesses and lengths
from 72" (1829mm) to 204" (5182mm).

University of San Francisco’s Phelan Hall 8-Week Remodel
The wide sizes of Avonite’s Wet Wall Panel System dramatically reduced fabrication, installation time and material waste, as well as painting and maintenance costs.
“We only had 3½ weeks to install over 30,000 SF of solid surface on all of the wall surfaces,” John Salmon explains. “We ended up hard seaming everything so it really looks nice. Using Avonite’s Right-Sized sheet versus standard to cover the 24,000 ft2 surface reduced the number of seams required by 692! Saving approximately 1384 man hours!” – Phelan Project General Contractor
Solid surface products typically come in a few standard sizes, most
no wider than 30". Aristech’s right-size capability allows for all Avonite
Foundations® sheets to be produced up to 60" (1524mm) wide, and in a
variety of thicknesses – including our standard 1/4" (6mm) and 1/2" (12mm)
thicknesses – and lengths from 72" (1829mm) to 204" (5182mm).
Preparing for a big job? Our continuous cast manufacturing process allows
us to offer a nearly endless selection of right-sized lengths, widths and
even thicknesses for Solid Surface materials.
FEWER SEAMS. Avonite’s Right-Sized sheets require significantly fewer seams per installation – even at an optimistic
2-hours per seam, labor costs quickly add up. Bottom Line: bigger sheets = bigger savings, because wider
sheet = fewer seams, fewer seams = less labor, less labor = less cost.
