FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, NORTH AUGUSTA FIRST EDITION, March 2018 Volume 24 - Issue 3 A NOTE FROM OUR PASTOR... Church Family, We are a church that prays and I am praying for you! Exciting things are happening as we build trust by celebrating what God is doing at FBCNA. We are steadily moving through our series in Galatians, “Get it Right.” 7-WEEK JOURNEY Starting March 25, we will begin a 7-week journey that will begin with Dr. Richard Land being at FBCNA on Palm Sunday. He is the president of Southern Evangelical Seminary in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Land is also the former president of the Ethics and Religious Liberties Commission (ERLC) of our Convention. He is a great man of faith with a great mind for our faith and is a personal mentor and friend of mine. He will be here March 25 to speak on John chapter 1, the first great Christian Apologetic about Christ coming and becoming flesh and walking among us. FREE GIFT FOR EASTER On April 1, Easter Sunday, because of a generous donation, we are going to give a special gift to our community. About three years ago, I published a book on defending the faith titled Prove It. I am excited to announce that the 2nd Edition of my book is being published and will be shipped out within the next couple of weeks. Thousands of copies of this book will be made available for FREE on Easter Sunday at FBCNA! WHO CAN YOU INVITE? One of the things we are creating in our church is an “invite culture.” Easter Sunday would be a great time for you to invite someone to come and be a part of our Sunday morning services. Tell them we will have a free gift for them! The following week, Masters weekend, April 8, our Discipleship Pastor Dr. Mike Cunningham will preach another powerful sermon about our faith from the book of Acts. This entire journey is dedicated to loving people enough to answer the hard questions that come up about our faith. 4 WEEKS OF CELEBRATION Starting April 15 (the week after The Masters), we will have four weeks of celebration. For four weeks, April 15-May 6, we will discuss four of the major thoughts that are in my book, Prove It. As a point of creating an “invite culture,” for four weeks, we are going to have ONE Multi-Generational Worship Service from 10:30-11:45 am, and Connection Groups will meet from 9:15-10:15 am. Also, at 5:00 pm, we will have a Modern Worship Service in the Underground of the Children’s Learning Center on each of these 4 weeks, April 15-May 6. I am already celebrating what God is going to do during this 7-week journey! Let’s love our community enough to answer the hard questions about our faith. Who can you invite?

A NOTE FROM OUR PASTOR...Church Family,

We are a church that prays and I am praying for you! Exciting things are happening as we build trust by celebrating what God is doing at FBCNA. We are steadily moving through our series in Galatians, “Get it Right.”

7-WEEK JOURNEYStarting March 25, we will begin a 7-week journey that will begin with Dr.

FREE GIFT FOR EASTEROn April 1, Easter Sunday, because of a generous donation, we are going to give a special gift to our community. About three years ago, I published a book on defending the faith titled Prove It. I am excited to announce that the 2nd Edition of my book is being published and will be shipped out within the next couple of weeks. Thousands of copies of this book will be made available for FREE on Easter Sunday at FBCNA!

WHO CAN YOU INVITE?One of the things we are creating in our church is an “invite culture.” Easter Sunday would be a great time for you to invite someone to come and be a part of our Sunday morning services.

4 WEEKS OF CELEBRATIONStarting April 15 (the week after The Masters), we will have four weeks of celebration.
