Prohibited Routes for Overweight Vehicles during Spring Thaw (with map)

February 1st through April 30th of every year, over weight vehicles, requiring annual single-trip or special permits

with Green or Purple weight, issued by the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT), are PROHIBITED from

using the below routes. These routes are restricted to legal single, tandem and tridem axle weight limits during this

period. Overweight fines double on these routes during this three (3) month period. The time frames are subject to

change without notice. Please contact the Over Dimensional Permit office to clarify any routing questions.
