Registration Registration from 8.30am. Membership cards should be available for inspection. Event Timings Practice for Compound archers will commence at 9.30am with the matches starting at 09.45am. Practice for Recurve archers will commence at 11.30am with the matches starting at 11.45am. Please see below for the full program. Event Format There will be four disciplines, Men Recurve, Men Compound, Ladies Recurve and Ladies Compound. Groups of six archers will shoot a 12 arrow match against each other and gain two points for a win or one point for a draw. A cut will then be performed from 24 archers to 12 archers. Following a second set of matches a cut will take the 12 archers down to 4 to proceed into the semi finals. All Archers will shoot on a threespot vertical face, with a 10 second lead in, and 90 seconds to shoot three arrows. Prizes Cash Prizes for the top 4 archers in each discipline, with a maximum of £200 for the winner. Spot prizes are available throughout the day. High dozen prizes will also be awarded. Dress Although dress regulations do not apply, archers are requested to dress smartly. Blue jeans, camo and other sports based shirts will not be acceptable. Drug Testing Archers competing at record status tournaments may be liable for drugs testing. Competitors who are approached to give samples must comply. Noncompliance will be treated as a positive result. Parents / Guardians must sign the relevant box on the entry forms giving consent for junior archers (Under 18’s) to be drug tested if approached. Refreshments Food will be available at the arena. Drinks and snacks may be consumed in the hall. Photography In line with the recommendation in the Archery GB Safeguarding Policy, those who wish to take photographs or video at this event are to register with the Tournament Secretary on arrival. Unauthorised photography is not permitted. Special Note Archers who are unable to get to the target should arrange for an assistant to aid in scoring and arrow collection. Car Parking Car Parking will be available in car parks A and B, and will be subject to a £1 parking fee. Trade Stands A number of traders will be in attendance over the weekend. Please support them.
