“All-Star School Lunch” Theme

• NSLW 09 will help students learn about the importance of eating healthy and being active

• The NBA inspired campaign features 5 “basketball teams” each comprised of healthy school lunch menu items and coached by a current or former NBA/ WNBA player

• The “teams” reinforce the concept of eating a balanced school lunch

• The campaign runs from Aug 09 to Oct 09, culminating during NSLW, Oct12-16

Draft Your All-Star School Lunch Team Contest• Students will have the opportunity to draft and name

their very own All-Star Team, while explaining why their team helps makes them an all-star

• Open to students nationwide (Grades 1-12)• 4 national winners (2 online, 2 cafeteria contest) will

receive a prize pack• The contests will run August 1, 2009 to October 16,

2009, and national entries (paper format only) are due to SNA by October 30, 2009

• 2 Ways to enter: Online or cafeteria contest

• They complete the student entry form by picking their All-Star team and explaining why it will make them an All-Star
