Goods and Services Tax (GST) law is an important milestone in the journey to transform India. “One Nation, One Tax”, is the motto of GST. GST was implemented from 1st July, 2017 and everyone is discussing about GST
and its implications. In view of this we, at Bhavan’s Vivekananda College of Science, Humanities and Commerce are organizing a paper presentation
competition on “Goods and Service Tax- A Revolutionary Change in India” for all UG and PG Students. It is a platform to discuss the issues, challenges and way forward of GST and its implementation.

Important Dates
Submission of Abstract: 31st July, 2017 (Max of 250 words) Full Paper Submission: 7th August, 2017 (Max of 4000 words) Date of Paper Presentation: 26th August, 2017
Abstracts and Full Papers should be sent to [email protected]
➢ Abstract should not be of more than 250 words. An abstract should include
5 key words.
➢ The full paper of maximum 4000 words typed in MS Word with 1.5 line spacing and font Bookman Old Style, size 12-point with one inch margin on
all four sides should be print ready and sent by email to [email protected]
➢ Cover page of the manuscript should contain the title of the paper,
author’s full name, class, college name, mobile number and e-mail ID need to be clearly mentioned in the abstract and full paper.
➢ Selected papers will be published.
Registration Fee: Rs. 500/- per student it includes registration kit & Lunch.
Registration fees can be paid through Demand Draft or Online Payment. In case of
demand draft if should be in favour of “Principal, Bhavan’s Vivekanada College of Science, Humanities and Commerce”.

Best Paper Award There will be two best paper awards given at the final round of paper presentation.
