Gunby Hall – a perfect venue Gunby Hall & Gardens, set on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, is the most romantic location for your special day. Built in 1700 as a home for the Massingberd family, this superb English country house is picture perfect in every way. Set amidst beautifully landscaped gardens and surrounded by stunning parkland, Gunby Hall & Gardens is available to book for wedding ceremonies, photographs and drinks receptions throughout the year. What we offer Ceremonies can take place on Thursdays or Fridays during the morning or afternoon. At Gunby Hall & Gardens we offer a selection of wedding plans to suit your needs. From intimate wedding ceremonies in the Music Room, photographs in the beautiful gardens and champagne receptions in the Entrance Hall, every wedding at Gunby is unique.

Ceremonies in the Music Room The Music Room, with its superb panelling and classical proportions, is the perfect choice for an intimate and romantic ceremony. We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies for up to 50 guests. Make your arrival in style, from the first moments arriving on our drive to the impressive circuit sweep of the grassed oval, pausing for photographs at the front steps before entering the front door to Gunby Hall. Say ' I do' surrounded by family and friends in a stunning setting. After your ceremony the bride and groom are joined by their guests on the front steps, overlooking the beautiful formal garden with its timeless topiary, fragrant lavender and wonderful views of the surrounding parkland.

Photographs in the Gardens Gunby’s beautiful gardens make a truly special setting for your photographs. Whatever the time of year there will be something to delight you and your guests. Champagne Receptions in the Entrance Hall After your ceremony, why not enjoy a special celebratory drinks reception in the Entrance Hall surrounded by impressive paintings and collection of ceramics. We can only allow clear cold fluids in the Entrance Hall. Champagne, sparkling wine and soft drinks and glassware are provided by the clients.

B) Venue for Ceremony & Photos Weddings – up to 50 guests Use of the Music Room as a venue for a wedding ceremony including use of the ground floor and gardens for photographs

C) Venue for Ceremony, Photos & Champagne Reception Weddings – up to 50 guests Use of Music Room as a venue for a wedding ceremony, including use of the ground floor and gardens for photographs and drinks reception in the Entrance Hall or on the lawn.

Included in all packages: Use of licensed Music Room Parking on circular drive for the bridal car 50 chairs and seating for registrars Parking in car park for guests Use of Library for interviews with registrar Flowers from the Gunby gardens (if available) Use of ground floor after the ceremony Room Guides for security and information Dates & Timings Weddings can begin at any time from 11am to 3pm on Thursdays or Fridays as the house is closed to visitors on these days. Photographs can continue in the garden until 5pm.
