was borne in the seed to spread Quality Education & Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada
University has accomplished a yeomen service in spelling life in this dream by its service to
education since 1958. The historical city of Aurangabad was bestowed with a novel dimension of
being an educational centre with the establishment of the university... & since its inception the
university has made a legendry contribution & produced professionals that are no less than
synonyms to success. Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University has been highly
foresighted & had been proactive in starting courses & departments timely. One such
product of progressive thought process is the Department of Management.
United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) - India & BhutanUNIC - India & Bhutan acts as an agent to permeate the information on the various initiatives of
the United Nations in this part of the globe. The organization acts in partnership with
Government, nodal ministries & key organizations to propel social-good into the fabric of India.
One of its key initiative for the year is to create awareness of Hunger-prone regions, enlightening
about UN Millennium Goals & celebrating the spirit of International Year of Youth, Aug 2010 -11.
The Alma-mater: Department of Management Science
Department of Management Science is one of the leaders in introducing a Post-graduate
Programme in Business Administration in the nation. The Department started MBA course way-
back in the year 1972. Since then, the department has produced almost 1800 odd managers for
the Global village at large. Department of Management Science has made a legendry
contribution to the society by just not creating Entrepreneurs & professionals; but by creating
individuals that work with a mission to Excel & craft Excellence. The Department that have
recently shifted on to a state-of-the-art premises at the foothills & amidst scenic beauty is a place
that also cradles true personification of Progressive Education. The Department has made
timely moves understanding the pulse of the region by introducing Masters in Computer
Applications (MCA), Executive Masters in Business Administration (E-MBA), Diploma courses in
Health Service Management & Hospital Administration.
Besides creating Management Professionals & Entrepreneurs; the Department has catalyzed the
cultivation of Information Technology Professionals, by introducing MCA Course. Besides making
the IT Learning accessible to the region, the MCA Course aids the advent of Information
Technology Era for the region as well as the nation at large.
The Department of Management has now also been tested on International Standards - Thedepartment has been recently recognized under the standard for quality - Certified ISO
9001:2008.
