ALL PTA PRESIDENTS AND NOMINATING COMMITTEE MEMBERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!

One vote does make a difference! Have you been elected to the nominating committee or would like to know how it’s done the right way? A Nominating Committee is required per your Bylaws. The decisions of this committee will affect the future of your PTA. By attending this workshop, you will receive the training, skills and knowledge you will need to have a successful Nominating Committee. Learn the correct way to ensure that the process runs smoothly and as trouble-free as possible. After attending this session, you will return to your unit or council informed and ready to carry out the work of the most important committee – the Nominating Committee. Note: Attendees should bring a copy of their unit or council bylaws to the workshop as a reference.

Directions to BOCES Farber Center - Meadowbrook Parkway to Exit MS West (Stewart Avenue)

Exit Parkway and remain in right lane. Go to traffic light (Stewart Avenue) turn right. Travel for 1.5 miles. You will pass many shopping areas and a movie theater. You will enter Garden City. Travel in the left hand lane. Stay in left hand lane - you will see a large office building on the left (this is the BOCES building). You will see a Fed-Ex sign on the driveway at the left. Turn left into the driveway and drive around to front of building.

If you are traveling north on Clinton Road, the building will be on your right-hand side immediately after crossing over the railroad tracks. You will drive into the parking lot and the entrance is on the west side of the building
