Client Profile:
Netware is an Internet software company with several office locations
around the world, and employs approximately 10,000 people. The firm is
established in taking advantage of Silicon valleys concentration of computer
science professionals and entrepreneurial spirit.

Site Analysis:
The building space for Netware is located at 260 Homer Avenue in Palo Alto
California. The site is situated between a quiet residential area and a small
commercial street, which gives the site an easy access to a wide diversity of
restaurants, shopping centers and coffee shops. The commercial street is within
walking distance of 2-3 blocks from the site.

Project Goals:
1) Design a working space to facilitate collaboration, and increase
the client’s productivity in terms of sales.
2) Creating an optimized interior space to promote advancements in
the development, of new internet based products and services.
3) Promote the client’s image to potential professional recruits and
also for its clientele, via a dynamic and highly efficient work space
and workforce.
4) Maximize natural light circulation into the space, to provide a
warm interior feeling.
Design Statement:
Develop an office space for Netware Co. Ltd, which will also be a
training facility for the client. The design of the space will be used to
attract and accommodate working professionals, while boosting their
productivity and efficiency.

efficiency. The space has limited potential distractions for its employees, while
providing them with a comfortable atmosphere that is suitable to work. This
strategy can however have a negative impact on the long term productivity of the
employees.
