‘Naša bila štorija’ (‘Our White Story’) is a musical written by Nenad Ninčević i Goran Karan, whileNenad Šiškov is music producer and arranger of this project which included over 20 Croatian topmusicians.

It is ‘sung play in two acts’ that includes dramatic action and romantic story between two youngpeople placed at the beginning of the seventies of the last century.

‘Naša bila štorija’ was created from a screenplay by award-winning authors Goran Karan and NenadNinčevića, and will be revived in the form of concerts and musical by director Nina Kleflin.

Record label ‘Scardona’ is in charge of production and it has released CD with 17 songs from the musical‘Naša bila štorija’, which were sung by the biggest stars of the local music scene.

‘Naša bila štorija’ takes us back to Split in '70s

where we see two young and innocent teenagers

fall for each other and for the first time in their lives

get to know how true love feels but also how

painful broken heart can be.

Duje (Goran Karan) is young hope of football club

Hajduk who is facing game of his life - one on a

football field as well as one in his personal life. Duje

is in love with beautiful Ane (Severina), daughter of

director Vinko (Stefan Kokoškov) who doesn’t

want to have anything with Duje because of the old

argument between their families. Ana and Duje will

have to manage ups and downs, but despite of

everything, they won’t give up on their love.

Severina, Goran Karan, Giuliano, Danijela Martinović, Tedi Spalato, Stefan Kokoškov, MirellaMeić and Zorica Bučić are all immpresive singers and actors who will certainly present the authenticwell-known Split mentality, humor and the story of forbidden love.

The songs from the musical follow the action of the story, but they can function independently andthey were perfectly accepted by radio audience.

The great potential of the musical immediately caughtthe attention of the media and the audience, not only inCroatia but also in the entire region. The first single‘Sta je svit’, a duet by Severina and Goran Karan,immediately won a lot of hearts and in the first weekplaced directly on the 3rd place on national chart.

Brilliant production takes the listener to another,magical dimension where everything is possible.Without any doubt, we can say that Nenad Šiškov, whomade the arrangement of all 17 songs from the musical,exceeded everything that we hear on the radio thesedays and created a song worthy of Disney fairy tales.

After publishing CD ‘Naša bila štorija’ and promoting it in Split in March, next step are bigconcerts in Split, Zagreb and Ljubljana with all stars.

After that, the musical will come to the theaters where the story will be run by professionalactors.

NENAD NINČEVIĆ – AUTHOR AND EXECUTIVE PRODUCENT

• Nenad Ninčević (1962.), famousCroatian composer, songwriter,musician, arranger. He is bestknown as a songwriter of popularmusic and the author of over twothousand songs. He wrote themusical ‘Naša bila štorija’ togetherwith Goran Karan.

• He is a member of the original set ofTutti Frutti Band, in which heplayed rhythm guitar. In 1990’s hewas director of Split Festival.

• He wrote and composed songs for famous Croatian artists such as Oliver Dragojević, MišoKovač, Vinko Coce, Zdravko Škender, Jasmin Stavros, Zorica Kondža, Mladen Grdović, MeriCetinić, Tony Cetinski, Goran Karan, Giuliano, Jasna Zlokić, Zlatko Pejaković, Mate Bulić,Đani Stipaničev and bands Tutti Frutti, Magazin, Feminnem etc.

• His songs have been performed on Split festival, festival ‘Od srca srcu’, Zadarfest, Dora,Hrvatski radijski festival, Etnofest in Neumu, Brodfest, Zlatne žice Slavonije etc.
