Once  again  we  were  blessed  with    great  weather  for  the  25th  Annual    Feast  &  Carnival.  The  community  came  out  as  always  to  eat,  drink  &  be  merry!

A  Night  At  The  Opera!              Thanks  to  Gene  Orientale  for  arranging  our  annual  outing  to  the  Sarasota  Opera  on  March  10th,  where  everyone  enjoyed    

Nessun  Dorma  was  beautifully  sung,  staging  spectacular  &  it  was  an  enjoyable  visit  to  the  Opera  House.  Many  of  the  group  gathered  for  dinner  downtown  before  the  show  and  made  it  a  full  evening  of  culture,  cuisine  &  camaraderie!  Gene  is  already  planning  for  next  year!  Hope  you  plan  to  attend!

March  3rd-­  Birthday  Celebration  was  attended  by  88  members  who  turned  out  to  sing  to  11  birthday  celebrants!  Justin  Terzi  &  Joe  DiMarco,  assisted  by  Joe  Carbone,  Patsy  Santaguida,  George  Murphy  &  Secondo  Bortolotto  served  soup,  sausage  &    peppers  &  of  course,  cake!  Bar  by  Bob  Houston,  50/50  by  Rich  Dionisio  &  Barbara  Moccia  at  the  door.  It  was  great  that  several  members  offered  their  help  for  next  month.  .Chair,  Bruce  reminds

March  19th-­        at  Epiphany  Cathedral  was  attended  by  about  50  members.  This  annual  mass  is  celebrated  in    Italian  and  readings  were  done  by  Maria  Tims  &  Nancy  Canto.  In  keeping  with  tradition,  the    congregation  enjoyed  the  breads  &  biscotti    provided  by  the  club,  after  the  services.    Joe  DiMarco  thanks  all  who  attended  &  especially  those  who  helped  make  the  bread.  Mille  Grazie.  

March  16th    brought  120  wearing  of  the  green  

Italian  touch  to  the  traditional  Irish  soda  bread,  corned  beef  &  cabbage  

Pelegrini,  Marino  Roncari  &  Patsy  Santaguida,  with  Mike  Alexandratos  &  Frank  Uttaro  helping  as  well.  Bar  set-­up,  Dick  Cattelona,  decorations,  a  

jigs  &  a  sing-­along  featuring  Irish  tunes  with  Broadway  Bruce.  Helper    Leprechauns  were  Barbara  T,  Barbara  M,  Judy  P,  Roseann  D,  Vi  G,  Rich  D  &  all  who  pitched  in  for  bussing  &  clean  up!    Kudos  to  Bruce  &  Joe  for
