Barack Obama has held talks with the Dalai Lama. Despite Chinas strong objections. So it's really a sort of 'Obama Lama Ding Dong'

The only thing I take seriously in newspapers is fish n chips and I take that with a pinch of salt ;)

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the wine I drink I feel shame. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the vineyards and all of their hopes and dreams . If I didn't drink this wine, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this wine and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver."

WARNING: The consumption of alcohol may leave you wondering what the hell happened to your bra and knickers.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they Wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.
WARNING: The consumption of alcohol may create the illusion that you are tougher, smarter, faster and better looking than most people.
When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.
WARNING: The consumption of alcohol may lead you to think people are laughing WITH you.
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case . Coincidence? I think not.~ Stephen Wright
When we drink, we get drunk. When we get drunk, we fall asleep. When we fall asleep, we commit no sin. When we commit no sin, we go to heaven. So, let's all get drunk and go to heaven!
WARNING: The consumption of alcohol may cause pregnancy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.

WARNING: The consumption of alcohol is a major factor in dancing like a retard.

A vampire bat came in from the night, face all covered in fresh blood and parked himself on the roof of the cave to get some sleep.

Pretty soon all the other bats smelled the blood & began hassling him about where he got it.

He told them to let him get some sleep, but they persisted until he finally gave in..

"OK, follow me", he said & flew out of the cave with hundreds of excited bats behind him.

Down through a valley they went, across a river & into a huge forest.

Finally he slowed down & all the other bats excitedly milled around him, tongues hanging out for blood.

"Do you see that large tree over there?" he asked.

"YES, YES, YES!!!" the bats all screamed in a frenzy.

"Good for you!" said the bat, "Because I didn't."

Aah, the Golden Years! SPECIAL POEM FOR OLDER FOLKS

A row of bottles on my shelfCaused me to analyze myself.

One yellow pill I have to popGoes to my heart so it won't stop.

A little white one that I takeGoes to my hands so they won't shake.

The blue ones that I use a lotTell me I'm happy when I'm not.

The purple pill goes to my brainAnd tells me that I have no pain.

The capsules tell me not to wheezeOr cough or choke or even sneeze..

The red ones, smallest of them allGo to my blood so I won't fall.

The orange ones, very big and brightPrevent my leg cramps in the night.

Such an array of brilliant pillsHelping to cure all kinds of ills.

But what I'd really like to know............Is what tells each one where to go

A man was dining in a fancy restaurant and there was a gorgeous redhead sitting at the next table. He had been checking her out since he sat down, but lacked the nerve to speak to her.

Suddenly she sneezed, and her glass eye came flying out of its socket toward the man. He reflexively reached out, grabbed it out of the air, and handed it back.

'Oh my, I am so sorry,' the woman said as she popped her eye back in place...

'Let me buy your dinner to make it up to you,' she said.

They enjoyed a wonderful dinner together, and afterward went to the theatre and later had drinks. They talked, they laughed, she shared her deepest dreams and he shared his. She listened.

After paying for everything, she asked him if he would like to come to her place for a nightcap and stay for breakfast. They had a wonderful, wonderful time.

The next morning, she cooked a gourmet meal with all the trimmings. The guy was amazed. Everything had been SO incredible! 'You know,' he said, 'you are the perfect woman. Do you treat every guy you meet this way?'

'No,' she replied...

'You just happened to catch my eye...'

(Oh stop it, its not that bad!!!)

Another letter from THE DOG to GOD:

Dear God: Let me give you a list of just some of the things I must remember to be a good Dog.

1. I will not eat the cats' food before they eat it or after they throw it up.

2. I will not roll on dead seagulls, fish, crabs, etc., just because I like the way they smell.

3. The Litter Box is not a cookie jar.

4. The sofa is not a 'face towel'.

5. The garbage collector is not stealing our stuff.

6. I will not play tug-of-war with Dad's underwear when he's on the toilet.

7 . Sticking my nose into someone's crotch is an unacceptable way of saying 'hello'.

8. I don't need to suddenly stand straight up when I'm under the coffee table.

9. I must shake the rainwater out of my fur before entering the house - not after.

10. I will not come in from outside and immediately drag my butt.

11. I will not sit in the middle of the living room and lick my crotch.

12. The cat is not a 'squeaky toy' so when I play with him and he makes that noise, it's usually not a good thing.
