Nursing into Action

Listening into Action (LiA)Our Chief Executive, John Adler, has introduced the LiA approach – this gives all staff the opportunity to put forward ideas and take action to improve the services provided to our patients by our staff and for staff benefit. The trust has continued to develop this approach introducing nursing into action (NiA) led by the ward teams.

International Nurse Recruitment

As part of our wider campaign we have recruited a number of nurses from Spain, Portugal, Italy and the Republic of Ireland, who have embraced the opportunities offered in Leicester. Their enthusiasm is infectious and they have positively contributed to the nursing culture as well as patient care within our hospitals. We have employed over 400 international nurses to date and are looking to employ more in the future.
