M usk is an odor very popular with current noses. It shows something sensual, animal and exhilarating. Musk originally came from the buckshot. The latter lives mainly in Tibet and Siberia. At the time of its rut, the buckskin gives off an atypical odor, an odor of musk. In its pure state, musk is a really strong odor which spreads animal, wood and also faecal tones. To extract this matter from the buckshot, you had to kill the animal. Today, this practice is prohibited and musk is recreated in the laboratory in an identical manner. As soon as it was discovered, the woody and animal scent of musk made men fragrances happy, to give them the virile state they had hitherto lacked. It was in 1926 that Lavoslav Ruzicka found the perfect synthetic replica of the smell of animal musk. Musk offers woody, warm, enveloping, sensual and sweet notes Suave, warm and animal, musk has almost become essential for oriental compositions where it gives off sensual tones. Now reproduced synthetically, musk has a special place in niche perfumery. It is highly prized for its sensual, even sexual, odor, but also for the warm and enveloping tones it gives off. Musk is associated with all the olfactory families, bringing to each, its atypical odor. MUSC PALAWAN MUSK

Among more than 1,500 raw materials used in perfumery, Ylang-Ylang is one of the most coveted.

It is a tree native to Southeast Asia. Ylang-Ylang also has health benefits, but also tranquilizing effects when used in aromatherapy. Its essential oil is a source of pleasure. By pouring it a little into the bath water or by applying it to the skin, the body relaxes completely. The essence of Ylang-Ylang is obtained by distilling its flowers. Depending on the frequency of distillation, different qualities of Ylang-Ylang essence are obtained. The fresh Ylang-Ylang flower is distilled with water in stills which extract the essential oil from Ylang-Ylang

divided into several fractions. The duration of the distillation of the Ylang-Ylang is between 12 and 20 hours. On the other hand, the fractions obtained in the first two hours are the best essences of Ylang-Ylang. The essence of Ylang-Ylang obtained is available in Extra normal, Extra Superior and First reserved for fine perfumery, in Second and Third for the design of cosmetics. 100 kg of Ylang-Ylang flowers are necessary to obtain 2 kg of gasoline. Its scent is very persistent. We then notice the smell of powder, fruit, spices, flowers and a little leather. The essence of Ylang-Ylang is used to replace or supplement jasmine in floral accords.
