Mrs. Farrell’s Daily Schedule 8:00-bell rings for students to come to room. As students enter they unpack, turn in any notes to the metal bucket, sharpen pencils, get books from cubbies, go to their assigned seat, and begin working on Math Warm-up problems (see whiteboard). During this time students will also read the morning message. Before 8:10-take lunch count/attendance; (have buckets stand and subtract to find ticket #). Send this and any notes from the metal bucket to the office in the GREEN tub (behind desk) with the helper of the day (green chalkboard). 8:15-Pledge (school-wide over intercom) 8:10-8:50—MATH 1 st hour (Mrs. Farrell’s students) 8:55-9:35—MATH 2 nd hour (Mrs. Weber’s students) 9:40-10:20—daily special morning recess *Monday- ART 9:40-10:20 *Tuesday-COMPUTERS 9:50-10:20 & PE 2:00-2:30 *Wednesday-LIBRARY 9:40-10:20 *Thursday-PE 9:50-10:20 *Friday-MUSIC 9:40-10:20 10:20-10:30—pick up kids from special, use restroom, get milk from cooler—students will line up in the middle of the hallway by the office. As you see the majority of the students in line, they may head back to room. Milk kids get a squirt of hand sanitizer as they enter the room; watch the current day’s show on SchoolToolsTV.com under “Elementary 3-7.” 10:35-11:15—MATH 3 rd hour (Mrs. Geltz’s students) 11:20-12:00—MATH 4 th hour (Mrs. Welsh’s students) 12:00—BAND students go to lunch. 12:05—organize desk areas and get stuff for Language Arts; Get a squirt of hand sanitizer and buckets or lunch cards. Buckets may line up first, then tickets. Students who have to serve a working lunch need to take their materials with them and line up last. 12:10-1:00—LUNCH & recess. (Tuesday duty 12:40-1:00; Monday sidewalk duty) 1:00—meet students in hallway by office and have bathroom break. 1:10-1:15— Write homework in student calendars/agendas. 1:15-1:55—LANGUAGE ARTS (Q1-Farrell, Q2-Weber, Q3-Geltz, Q4-Welsh) 2:00-2:35—FLEX TIME: Students may use the remainder of this time for study hall, extra help, AR reading, sharpening pencils. **THURSDAY = CHORUS** 2:40-any work not finished is now considered homework. Organize desks quietly while you read announcements. 8:00-bell rings for students to come to room. As students enter they unpack, turn in any notes to the metal bucket, sharpen pencils, get books from cubbies, go to their assigned seat, and begin working on Math Warm-up problems (see whiteboard). During this time students will also read the morning message.
