1 Food Distribution of Sant. Dnyaneshwar

Palaki

26.06.2019 On 26 June every year a

great festival is celebrated

in Maharashtra in which

Sant Dnyaneshwar palki is

carried. NSS club

organised Food and water

distribution to around 500

persons who were

travelling on foot and

participating in that palki.

Around 150 students

volunteered with high

spirits in distribution of

food and water.

2 Doctor`s Day 1st July is observed as Doctors day. On this occasion NSS

members made thanking cards and gave to the doctor’s of Military Ho

3 Cleanliness Drive

11.7.2019 part in this Cleanliness

Drive was conducted

within the campus on 11

july. As NSS club has

initiated the collaboration

with SWAG(Swatchta

warriors and gaurds) run

by Wing Commndr. Puneet

Sharma,We invited SWAG

member Satya Nadela as

our chief guest and over

200 of First Year Students

took drive.

4 Rotary

Installation

Some of the members of Rotaract Club of AIT went to attend the

installation of Parent Rotary Club i.e. Rotary Club of Poona Airport

5 NSS and Rotaract Club Orientation By DRR and DZR

In the Orientation

the concept of Rotaract

was introduced to the First

Year students and other

students of AIT.

6 Joint Tree Plantation

Around 10 members of Rotaract

went on cycles to Aundh to take part in the tree plantation

conducted by Rotaract Club of

Aundh and Rotaract Club of Kalyani Nagar

Match Club agreement was also

signed and Letterheads were also exchanged in the same event

7 Kargil Letter Writing

To pay tribute to the Kargil war

heroes AIT students wrote letters and gave it to Authorities

8 Tree Plantation

Around 300 trees were in

AIT campus. This event

conducted under FE

orientation and First Year

students also took part

actively in the event.

9 District PDD Session

Members of our Club went

Pimpri to attend the

Professional Development

Session conducted by

Rotaract Club of Pimpri in

which IRONMAN triathlon

events were explained.

10 Kargil War Memorila

Replica Some of the AIT students went to

Kargil War Memorial Replica

11 Movie Screening Romeo Akbar Walter is an

patriotic movie which was

screened in Manekshaw Hall on

occasion of independence day .

12 Independence Day NSS Club organized

Independence Day event in

the college and on the same

day Club members visited

orphanage and Blind

School to celebrate the

festival of Raksha Bandhan

with them. Sweets were

also distributed to them.

13 District Fellowship Meet

Some members of Rotaract Club went to attend District Fellowship meet.

14 NSS Board Inauguration

NSS board was installed at the entrance of AIT

15 Rotaract Club Installation

Installation of Rotaract Club took place and new board of directors was installed thus relieving the

previous board from its duties.

18 Swachh bharat

swachh pune With motto of clean india mission

we plan to visit different places in pune with the SWAG team starting

from our home AIT. We every

Sunday give 1 hour to clean our surrounding.

19 Blood donation

camp

18.09.2019 NSS club of AIT has organized blood donation camp on 18

th of

september in collaboration with AFMC in which 163 students

willingly donated blood.

20 Childrens Day

Celebration 14.11.2021 On behalf of children’s day, we

visited Asha school and celebrated it with the children over there. It was on 14/11/2019.

21 Maintainance of

Planted plants

02.09.2019 This is not an event, but we Volunteers put an effort in

maintaining the planted trees.

22 Birth Anniversary

23.01.2020 We 40 students of NSS Club of AIT have gathered near the AIT premises to celebrate the birth

anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on the date: 23/01/2020 in the evening time.

23 Pune Cyclothon 3.0

We 20 students of NSS Club of AIT have gathered near the SP college of Pune on the date and

time as mentioned.... To Shower our presence for the Cyclothon. We were very enthusiastic and Excited to participate and

volunteer for the event.

24 H.K Firodia Events 07.02.2020 We were invited for the event on 07/02/2020, we were 20 of us

attended the event.

25 Diya Selling Activity

The NSS volunteers of AIT have

sold some of the Diya’s made by the people of Mai Bal Bhavan

during the week

26 Movie screening

Republic Day 25.01.2020 We were around 150 students

gathered in the manekshaw hall of AIT for the movie screening event

on 25/01/2020 during the evening time. Also our staff members held their presence to the activity.

27 Snehwan Visit

24.09.2019 We were around 60 students who

went to visit the Snehwan Foundation.

Celebration 26.01.2020

30 NSS Foundation Day There were several events

happened on that day such as yoga, guest lectures and snehwan founder speech. We enjoyed the day very much and were very

happy for that.

31 River Cleaning

Activity 02.10.2019 We were around 20 students who

went to the river cleaning drive organized.

32 NSS CAMP 07.01.2020-

14.01.2020

We were around 50 in number who attended the NSS winter

special camp of 7days.

NSS is one of the greatest community service organization of India under the ministry of Youth and Sports. NSS club of AIT has served several years and equipped its members with great

enthusiasm and high spirit. Students every year take part in various community activities and enhance their various personality skills through their active participartion. NSS in AIT is collaborated with Rotaract club which provide wide range of opportunities to engineering to solve societies problems through science and technology. All members of this club has

contributed in social service and will always do so in future and take the name of this organization to greater heights with its motto of ‘NOT ME BUT YOU’. With Regards,
