All equestrians, if they last long enough, learn that riding in whatever form is a lifelong sport and art, an endeavor that is both familiar & new every time you take the horse out of his stall or pasture. Jane Smiley

from the MQHA and the MAQHA Easter Eggstravaganza Committee!

Thank You

Special Thanks to the following:

MQHA

I hope that everyone had a happy and safe Easter, along with a great time at the Easter Eggstravaganza at MSU, April 17-20. Once again the youth were blown away by the outstanding support of their plastic Easter Egg fundraiser at the show! People paid to buy a plastic egg that contained candy, a “sorry” or a prize number, which they then got to pick up off the table of numbered items. Youth were able to raise more than $1,200 and sold out almost in 2 hours. There were more than 50 prizes available for winners to pick from. All prizes and eggs were donated by youth board of directors and supporters. The youth board of directors would like to extend a HUGE thank you to all donors and supporters.

Leaving no time for relaxation, the youth will be hosting their next fundraiser at the Spartan Spectacular show, May 9-11, again at MSU. The youth will be asking people to sponsor a class. When that class in the arena, your name will be announced as a sponsor. Youth will be accepting sponsors the entire weekend. Youth members are very excited and looking forward to this fundraiser.

You may have seen youth members walking around wearing new MQHYA apparel. If you would like to order a sweatshirt or t-shirt, please get in contact with youth reporter Sasha Glover. We are planning on submitting another order within the next month. Sasha can be contacted via email at [email protected].

Again the youth board of directors would like to express a huge thanks to everyone for their continued support!

Sasha Glover, Youth Reporter
