This office has a three-fold mandate, namely:

- Planning-Coordinating

- Monitoring.

PLANNING FUNCTIONS preparation of development plans and programs for 

implementation by the LGU

-Plans could be :

Long term (Strategic) - covers 10 and more years

Medium term plan ± covers 3-5 years

One Year plan

Conduct of surveys or data gathering, researches, dataprocessing and analysis

Preparation of  project proposals

MONITORING FUNCTIONS

Looks into status of P/P/A implementation and ensures their timely completion to meet sectoral objectives.

Monitors ongoing P/P/As and gathers relevant information

for planning pur poses. Inspection of completed projects & conducts interviews

among beneficiaries of implemented projects.

Monitoring of ongoing projects as a member of theMonitoring team.

Preparation of Report on Dev¶t Programs for evaluationpur poses.

COORDINATING FUNCTIONS: Coordinates/consults with other offices for PME

Collates into one integrated plan all P/P/A for implementation by the various departments of theLGU

Assists other offices when requested

For this reason, the office is a member to vital

development organizations and special bodieswithin the LGU. (MNC, MDC, MDCC, etc.)

MPDC - Jos Albert Aguana

Facilitate formulation of an integrated economic,

social, physical and other dev¶t objectives and

policies.

Integrate and coordinate all sectoral plans and

studies

Monitors and evaluate implementation of P/P/A¶s

Exercise general supervision over the day to day

office operations.

Economic Researcher- Mary Ann G. Gumangan

Assists the MPDC in the conduct of researches

needed to evolve dev¶t objective and policies

Assists in the formulation of development plans

Prepare statistical data needed for the socio-

economic profiles, dev¶t plans and other related

documents.

Regularly prepare and update the municipal profile

Project Development Assistant- Ann Grace Dumangeng

Work as the MDCC coordinator 

Help in the formulation of development objectives

and policies

Assists in the preparation of the CDP

Assists in the conduct of monitoring and evaluation

of PPA¶s

Administrative IV- Ernesto Baglan

Assists in the preparation of BDP¶s and CDP¶s.

Work as the person-in-charge of the CBMS program

Assists in the conduct of monitoring and evaluation

of PPA¶s

Do other functions assigned by the supervisor.

Actual FunctionsAdministrative VI- Benita Bahni

Prepare regularly monitoring reports such as the Annual

report & Fund utilization report.

Receive, record, sort and file communications, documents

and reports submitted/furnished the office;

Encode communications, reports and documents from the

office and release them to requesting agencies/

offices/persons;

Do other clerical functions and such related functions as

maybe assigned them by the MPDC.

Actual Functions

Admnistrative Aide I- Dionisio Madawat

Help in the clean and green program: assigned to clean

the market area and member of the garbage crew.

Help in the maintenance of the municipal water system

Run errands for the office in connection with the

official responsibilities of MPDO;

Do other functions assigned by the supervisor.
