Dear BVMD,I want to join this exchange because of all the unimaginable experiences and I particularly wish for an exchange in cardiovascular surgery department because I am interested in it. Since the first time I became medical student, I want to be a cardiologist or a cardiac surgeon. When someone asked me, what medicine specialty Im going to take, I always answered them with these two. Its not because I am the most expert student in cardiovascular system at my class, but I think Its because Im interested and curious about it, the heart is a vital organ in our body, hearts work is required all of the times, and it affects the entire body. Although other organs have similar features, I pay more attention on this organ.When I was in the cardiovascular system and learned all the cases, every case makes me want to study more, especially when I met the ECG. In Indonesia, the use of medical devices for handling or treating cardiovascular cases is still somewhat less than the developed countries. Therefore, I wish I can get this opportunity to observe the technology and expertise of the medical staff at cardiovascular surgery department in Germany and also be a small part of it, although it is only for a short period of time. So that I can get many new experiences and knowledge for becoming a good doctor in the future and encourage the medicine here in my surroundings and also my fellow friends to have the will for developing our medicine technology. These things can be achieved by joining cardiovascular surgery department especially in Germany, because of its well known developed technology and expertise in medicine and health services.
