Hi, my name is Marley Zohar. I attend Wildwood school; my favorite subject is humanities because I love to learn about the past. I will be having my Bar Mitzvah August 29. I love to play baseball. I’ve been playing since I was five. Also I like to hang out with friends, and I can’t forget video games. I have a mom and dad, named Ivy and Aaron, a brother named Sid, and a sister also named Ivy. I can’t forget my precious dog named Ricky Bobby. I love to travel. Some of my favorite places I’ve been to are Japan, and Grenada, in the West Indies. I love the food there and I like to immerse myself with the culture. I hope you enjoy my bar mitzvah because I’ve worked very hard.

My name is Noah Root. My family and I are very happy to celebrate my Bar Mitzvah with all of you even though it is not the way I originally thought it would be. I go to school at Westside Neighborhood School. I have been going there for two years now, and I really like it there. I like math and I do well at it and have very nice teachers. It is one of my favorite classes at school, aside from the PE class. I am not much of a sports person, but I do love to play volleyball on the beach with my family. I like to pass around with my friends, and sometimes I play basketball. I also play piano and guitar and a little drums. I love to play with my dog, Blu, because she is always energetic and will run around for hours. I am also a very big gamer. I love to play all sorts of video games. Because of recent events I had to put my mitzvah project on hold but I plan to do something around mental health. I like to travel a lot as well. I like to go to New York, Florida, and Arizona where I have family to visit. I am not sure if they will all be able to attend my Bar Mitzvah, but I hope most of them do. Even if they don’t, they can still “attend” with Zoom and I will be excited to share my day with them that way.
