Dear Chamber Leaders:

Thank you for your continued contribution to the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Circle. Your generosity and commitment to leadership support are the foundation upon which we are able to build programs that serve the regional business community each year. The Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce’s membership is comprised of hundreds of local businesses, nonprofit organizations and government agencies. In 2015, we were proud to be recognized by the Silicon Valley Business Journal in their 2014-15 Book of Lists as one of the top 10 Chambers of Commerce in the greater Silicon Valley region.

As a Leadership Circle member, you share in our organization’s strategic mission to support member success and grow the regional economy. As a part of our mission to grow the regional economy, we’ve renewed our partnership with SBA-SCORE to provide businesses and nonprofits in the region with state-of-the-art business tools and access to individualized counseling and local sources for capital. We will be adding more workshops and seminars to inform members about the latest trends in technology, marketing and management.

To improve promotion and advertising of our members, we’ve rolled out a new website with more interactive features available to members and we’ve exponentially increased our presence on social media. We use both avenues to showcase our members’ accomplishments. Additionally, we have revamped our annual Business Magazine, which reached 25,000 in 2016 and will match that number in 2017.

Your sponsorships and in-kind support allow us to present first-class events held at the Peninsula’s finest locations. In 2016, many of our events drew record attendance, including our annual Monterey Bay Business Expo. Our reputation as a top regional chamber enables us to feature top political figures like Senator Bill Monning, who was the keynote speaker at our 2016 Annual Leadership Luncheon.

We look forward to continuing to effectively represent business interests in the community. Again, we sincerely thank you for your Leadership Circle investment.

Best regards,

Jody HansenMPCC President and CEO
