For Glass Tiles manufactured after May 31, 2010 refer to assembly direction 939504871. Montage Glass Cleaning Process

Montage glass should be cleaned inside and out thoroughly prior to installation. Care needs to be exercised in handling/installing the glass after it has been cleaned, especially the surface that will end up on the interior of the frame. For product that is currently installed, the glass needs to be disassembled for internal cleaning as a portion of the interior glass is unaccessible against the frame.

Process:Place the glass tiles on a grounded surface so that no static charges get built up during the cleaning process. An ergonomically designed bench or worksurface area is ideal so that installers do not have to bend over. Avoid laying glass on carpet surfaces as the fibers may create static charges.

Spray Glass cleaner on windows or glass surfaces and then wipe it off with untreated paper towels, or lint-free cotton cloths for a streak-free shine. (for example Windex® and Kimberly Clark Professional Wypall X70 Kimtowels).

Clean the glass out of direct sunlight. Sunlight can heat up windows causing sprays to dry before you can wipe them clean. If you can't control the drips try spraying the cloth first then wiping. The last step should be a dry pass, use dry clean paper towels, or lint-free cotton cloth.

For Slatwall Tiles that were manufactured before March 1, 2005 thismodification needs to be made on the backside of a slatwall becauseof a screw head interference on the lower horizontal filler strip.

1 2

Option #1

1. Remove tiles from frame.

2. Remove the lower horizontal filler strip.

20"H (Stack-on)

45"H (Base Frame)

NOTE: A horizontal filler strip is notneeded between the base frameand stack-on frame.

NOTE: Horizontal filler strip must beadded to the enhanced monolithicframe in each location where tilesegmentation occurs.

3. Turn the lower horizontal filler strip upside down (3a) and re-attach to frame (3b).

4. Re-attach panels and install slatwall.

Note: Tile segmentation anda desk-height cavity is required for desk-height power and data access. Tiles cannot be field-cut.

Tip: Horizontal filler strips must be added in each location where tile segmentation occurs. A filler strip is not needed between the desk-height cavity cover and the13"H tile above.
