Join Yin and Restore Yoga at 12:10 p.m. Friday, 1/8.
Find peace and relaxation in this fusion class that combines yin yoga and restorative yoga.
Yin yoga allows you to increase flexibility and experience myofascial release in the muscles while relaxing the mind. Restorative yoga allows you to find
complete relaxation and restore the mind, body, and soul.

Wellness Fitness Center At CHI Health Good Samaritan
*Please arrive to class at
least 5 minutes early to
gather props and to ensure
all members are ready to
start class.
Participants must be 16 years or older to attend classes.
Please arrive early or on time for class to avoid disruption. Participants who arrive first will be
granted the required equipment and space.
Please be courteous to the instructor an other fitness class participants. Refrain from the use of
electronic devices and stop all side conversations while class is in session.
Please do not talk while the instructor is talking to the class.
Instructors are trained to lead a safe and effective workout. Please follow the instructors lead in
class as they will always include alternative exercises for you to feel successful.
Instructors have the right to delay class if the studio is deemed unsafe for participants.
Once the instructor has ended class, please sanitize the bikes, mats, and other equipment
utilized. Also, please return any equipment used to the proper location.
If the instructor sees a member not participating according to the instruction/workout planned by
the instructor and disruption occurs, the instructor reserves the right to discuss the situation with
the manager for a follow up with the member regarding group exercise etiquette.
Class cancellation may occur in extreme situations. Every effort will be made to inform
participants.
Please place all bags, coats, extra shoes etc. in the locker room or in the space outside the group
exercise studio. We would like to keep clutter down and provide as much space in the studio for
participants.
Wear proper footwear (no sandals or bare feet, with the exception of mat based classes, ex:
Yoga). Street shoes are not allowed in the Group Exercise Studio. During the winter months and
bad weather conditions please bring a change of shoes so we are not tracking excess dirt, water,
snow, etc.
Proper workout attire must be worn at all times. Shirts must cover the midsection and chest, and
shorts must be mid-thigh length or longer. For aquatic classes one piece swim suits are a must or
a t-shirt over a two piece.
The attendance of each class will be monitored each schedule. If a class is consistently having low
participation, it may be changed or cancelled.
Members a required to comply with the policies and procedures of the Wellness Center. If you
need better clarification please contact the Wellness Center manager.
Yoga Sculpt: Gain strength & increase flexibility in this class,
which incorporates light weights to challenge the body in
traditional yoga poses. This is open to all levels. We move from
sitting to standing poses without support.
YOGA: This most levels yoga flow class is designed to help you
increase self-awareness, find mind/body connection, build
strength, and increase flexibility. In most classes, we'll move from
seated to standing.
Tai YoQi: A combination of Chi, QI Gong, & Yoga. These gentle
& flowing motions bring balance, flexibility & relaxation together.
Exercises are performed seated or standing. Restoring energy,
while improving mobility & health to your body.
Gentle Stretch: Enjoy a slow-paced gentle stretch class that
will make you longer, leaner & more relaxed while relieving aches
& pains. Great for those who wish for few transitions between floor
& standing.
Aqua Blast: Get moving with cardio water aerobics using water
dumbbells, noodles, balls, resistance bands & more. A high
intensity, low impact workout with less stress to the joints than
land based exercise.
Deep Water: High intensity, deep water jogging class will
provided an excellent cardio workout while relieving impact to
joints. Class is held in inner pool & flotation devices are available.
Aqua YoQi: A 45-minute movement improvement class for all
levels & abilities. This class is composed of gentle Tai YoQi
movements in warm water.
Aqua Fit: This water class uses a variety of ways to increase
strength, endurance, and balance. Great workout for all fitness
levels. Have fun getting fit!
Cycle Fit: Get fit like a cyclist! If you’re looking for a cardio
workout cycling is the best one around. Better yet it is low impact
to your joints. Join the ride!
Into to Cycling: This is a total body workout consists of 5
minute cycling intervals with strength exercises in between!
RIP: The RIP program is an exciting barbell class designed by
top fitness professionals from the Group RX program. Traditional
exercises are matched to energizing music to create a simple, fun
& powerful way to strength train all the major muscle groups. What are you waiting for, GET RIPPED!
Active You: Get a full body workout in a low impact land class.
Active You will focus on enhancing cardiovascular capacity for
those seeking a lower impact land class. Weights and tubing may
also be included to work on increasing strength and bone density.
End class with a stretch for a great start to your day!
Step & Core: This 60 minute class is a mixed workout which
works your whole body. It is structured to be at a high intensity
to burn calories, get those muscles strong, & achieve sleek &
toned look that we are all seeking!
Core & More: Crunches plus a whole lot more to get those abs
into shape! Tone the whole body using various equipment &
challenging moves targeting the entire abdominal core. Core strength is key to a healthy back.
Zumba: Join us for the hottest calorie burning workout around!
Zumba is exercise in disguise. You will be having so much fun
dancing, shaking and moving you’ll forget you’re working out!
Dance ability not needed to enjoy this class.
Piloxing Knockout: This killer workout will not only test your
endurance to the max, but will push your physical abilities to &
potentially, past their limits. With high-intensity, plyometric, sport
conditioning drills & functional training, this will help you conquer
obstacles & achieve a level of fitness you never knew you were
capable of!
Full Body Strength: This strength class is a muscle building
and conditioning class focusing on the entire body. Exercise will utilize a mixture of hand weights, exercise balls, & body weight to
sculpt the arms, legs, back, & glutes. This class will also contain a
core component.
